Listen to any Freddie Gibbs?

I've only heard a bit of his stuff, and not too sure how much of it came out this year, but he's pretty good.

Maybe not to the taste of most here, i don't know.

This year has been pretty shit, there hasn't been much that i've been craving for, Im still waiting for my copy of heaven razah to arrive so in the meantime i've been picking up some 90's joints that I missed out on. I recently just picked up the reissue of Al' Tariq God Connections.

http://bp1.blogger.com/_v3j81gQzUOc/SA6D5qhPQyI/AAAAAAAAArk/9TsUQ9qYNNg/s400/al+tariq.png

For those that don't know, Tariq used to go by the name of Fashion and was a member of The Beatnuts.

word, 2010 has been a great year for music so far... yo props on that Erykah Badu album Hollow, i bought that on the day of release and i was not the least dissapointed. check out "New Ameryakh Part One" too if you haven't heard it, very different, very political and eerie with loads of digital cold funk and hip-hop beats. that's close to a 5/5 album for me while "Part Two" is more 4/4.

most have already been mentioned but some that you should defo check out:
* KRS-One/True Master - "Meta Historical"
* DJ Muggs vs. Ill Bill - "Kill Devil Hills"
* The Roots - "How I Got Over"
* DJ Hi-Tek & Talib Kweli (Reflection Eternal) - "R.P.M.'s"
* Nas & Damian Marley - "Distant Relatives"
* Strong Arm Steady - "In Search Of Stoney Jackson"
* Big Boi - "Sir Lucious Left Foot"
* Guilty Simpson - "OJ Simpson"
* Fat Joe - "The Darkside Vol. 1"
* Madlib - "Beat Konducta in Africa"
* K-Def - "Gangster Instrumentals"
* John Legend/The Roots - "Wake Up!"
* AG - "Everything's Berri" (it has some heat on it)
* AG/Dilla - "Dunkin' Donuts Mixtape"
* Vinnie Paz - "Season Of The Assassin"
* Dutch (Stope / Liz Fullerton) - "A Bright Cold Day"
* Prince Paul Presents Horror City - "Unreleased LP" (recorded in '95)
* Slum Village - "Villa Manifesto"
* Marco Polo / Ruste Juxx - "The Exxxecution"
* Hell Razah - "Heaven Razah"

* Ayatollah - "Quixotic" (hasn't heard it yet)
* Black Milk - "Album of the Year" (hasn't heard it yet)
* Rah Digga - "Classic" (hasn't heard it yet)

I was planning on purchasing the real copies of those albums, minus the Big Boi & reflection eternal

I was planning on purchasing the real copies of those albums, and to answer your question, I would say, Hip-Hop is my first choice of music. But I listen to Soul, R&B, Video game Instrumentals, Electronic (Preferably Toonami type beats), Party music, and a lil rock (tiny bit) (real tiny).....
