Definitely violence for me,It's very cathartic.

While it's not the greatest idea to go around fucking up every in your path, listening to an aggresive MC dish out a lyrical beatdown or homicide is the next best thing.

Sometimes that backfires though.

I don't really prefer anything although lyrics about violence seem kindda half arsed these days.

At the end of the day, I think it's all about what I personally can relate to.

i went for social/political

but joint with that would be when MCs brag about their skills on the mic, hip hop is traditionally a very competitive genre (battling,diss songs, freestye battles etc) and i like it when and MC asserts their lyrical power....as long as they don't do it in every fucking song lol
