The 808 kick is used all over the place, more obviously in the 80's Hip Hop songs when beats were more simple.
As time went on that deep 808 kick has still been used but filtered, eq'd and used in a more obscure way underneath sampled kicks just to add an extra, signature thump that defines Hip Hop drums.
Out of many songs, these are ones that stand out in my memory the most,
LL Cool J - Jack The Ripper
D-Nice - The TR-808 Is Comin
The D.O.C. - Let The Bass Go
Eric B & Rakim - What's On Your Mind
Cash Money & Marvelous - Ugly People Be Quiet remix, Find An Ugly Woman
Stezo - Crazy Noise
Akinyele - In The World (Large Professor Remix)
Boogie Down Productions - We In There
Big Daddy Kane - Get Into It

Eric B and Rakim's "Paid in Full" is what first comes to mind for me, most, if not all songs on there would use 808's if i'm not mistaken. as Brandon said alot of the '80s hip-hop used that drum machine.

And just in case you did not get it from the title; Kanye West's 808's and Heartbreak is all 808 beats.

RZA used that 808 bass/kick a lot on 36 chambers believe it or not. check out clan in da front. the third kick in each bar is layered with an 808. maybe not from the actual machine but a sampled one for sure

Eric B & Rakim - Mahogany
Mobb Deep - Survival Of The Fittest Remix

Black Moon - Ack Like U Want It
The Audio Two - Most of their debut album has nice, simple beats and an 808 that really stands out, they put one under the Impeach drums on Top Billin'

Yo Breaststroke & Buttafly, check this one out. This MC is rhymin about shit, piss and boogers over an 808 drum track. The song's stupid as hell in that style of late 80's Hip Hop comedy.
This track uses more of the full 808 drum kit than the songs I listed above which mainly use the kick drum.

Brandons on point with his posts in here
808 shines the brightest in the 80s, after then you really only hear it here and there, and as was mention it was used to give extra thump to kicks when sampling out drums became the way
