Depends on the producer, I remember reading Wu played Trackmasters 150g's or something like that for "Back In The Game" off Iron Flag

RZA took 50 000 per beat as Bronze Feet mentioned around that time.

i know that DJ Premier's regular price used to be 30 000 per beat, altho he could charge lesser if he really liked the MC.

i would imagine Pete Rock charging around the same.

a Timbaland, Dr. Dre or Neptunes beats i guess would at least be 500 000 then unless it's an artist they working on for a full album.

cats like RZA, Premier and Pete Rock hardly can charge those prices these days i would believe tho. whatever happened to Trackmasters, very underrated duo that had they hand in many great/classic albums.

I wonder how much Cappadonna spent on Jermaine Dupri's beat for Ying & Yang album? Probably blew his whole album budget. Some producers can command a lot, try getting a Kanye West beat for cheap. Kanye's new album supposedly has costed more than 3 Mil. I'm sure RZA has gotten a good chunk of change for his beat plus if the song becomes a hit even more $$.

I heard that Trackmasters has reformed with about seven members now.
