Up and coming southern rapper Big K.R.I.T has put his debut album up for free download on the internet, and its not just a dope album, its better than a lot of albums ive paid money for recently. He produces most if not all of the beats which are brilliant, soulful, with a hint of UGK influence. Hes a very accomplished rapper, he speaks on a number of topics and sounds very at home on these beats. Tracks like "Something", "Children Of The World" and "Hometown Hero" are simply outstanding.

I cant be bothered writing a proper review, but this is a fantastic album, and the biggest surprise is that its free, id easily pay for this.

:thumbup: i'm a big supporter of Big K.R.I.T. Krit wuz here is a good album but I prefer the Hometown Hero mixtape because it has most of the same songs but i think it's mixed better. I'm looking forward to his debut on def jam. hopefully they don't fuck it up.

Im still listening to this album non stop. "Something" is a such a beatiful, soulful track one of my favourites on the album and voices is a BANGING track, a really haunting beat with some great reflective lyrics.

Theres maybe a few tracks that arent up to par with the rest, but altogether its a fuckin brilliant album. I will be checking Big K.R.I.T out from now on.
