Scientists in Scotland have developed a material that could be used to make invisibility cloaks.

Known as "Metaflex" the material works by bending and manipulating light around objects, its also the first time that a metamaterial has been produced in a form suitable for fabrics.

A new material that could be used to create a real-life Harry Potter-style "invisibility cloak" has been designed by Scottish scientists.
