dizzee rascal first album 'boy on the corner' made almost a great impression on me as when i first heard enter the wu-tang... a really different kind of hiphop.

BUT! now i got his second album - Showtime - and i don't know, but i feels kinda like a disappointment... i don't exactly why but it's just so... the same... no... i dunno... it just doesn't sound as special as the first album. anyone agrees with this and yes/no, why??

i got his first album, its really dark a bit like early Wu, so i like that. Youll find ALOT of early Wu influence on English hip hop.

I personally don't like the style of UK Grime MC's, it's too much influenced by Garage and just ain't my thing.

i did like showtime the first time i heard it, and i still do, but boy in da corner was better and more innovative

dizzie is diffrent which i respect, he has a good flow for sure - but some songs get a little annoying and repetative, wiley is much better

Showtime wuzn't bad. i liked it. thing is a lot of ppl don't like him cuz it's not exactly hiphop, it's like grime music or somethin. different but still good in my books.

I have both albums and Boy in The Corner is top class, not as keen on Showtime, not as many stand out tracks. I saw him live at T in the park this year, but wasn't impressed, the set was too slow.
