There is only 1 good line, maybe 2. Lyrically it is a big cliche. Musically, hmm... I like the piano but the rest of it is quite forgetable.

As for the video, it is just a lot of typical west coast elements which means no substance or any surprises.

I expect the album to be better so I'm still looking forward to hearing it. Time has run out for Dr. Dre though, he is no longer the innovative producer he once was (still making good beats though) and he is still sticking to what sells when it comes to the rapping. Kanye has surpassed him in every possible way.

or maybe he's just on Kanye's balls right now because he just dropped an album people are calling a masterpiece

Kanye's problem is that he wasn't a part of the golden age and wasn't a part of a famous group in the late 80's.

Dr. Dre is as much of a liar as Rick Ross. He has never been a gangster, never shot anybody

Lyrically his albums have very little substance. I agree The Chronic and 2001 have been more influential but are they better albums? No.

And I don't even consider myself a Kanye fan. Hence my signature.

You're probably on Dre's balls because he is about to release an album. <-- Just had to be as silly as you.

listen up....kanye is a great artist....he has made great music....but u can't compare him to what dre has brought to the table.......dre was that nigga when hip hop was at it's best.........dre was up against producers such as RZA, Premier, Pete Rock, Lord Finesse, Buckwild, e. Sermon.......etc.....and they saw dre as the top guy for the most part.....

I gotta admit I've never listened to a Kanye album. Is the album shit substantially better than his singles? Because I haven't heard any productions by the guy that didn't sound like a commercialized RZA beat, with the exception of that Daft Punk rip-off and the boring 808 shit. His lyrics aren't much more interesting. Not a terrible producer, but I don't get what's so original.

Kanye is decent at best.

You aren't missing much if you avoid his material.

Dude gets waaaaaaaaaaaay too much praise.

This song is near cringeworthy, I like Akon (and ofc Snoop and Dre) but Akon didnt need to be on this because the beat and rhymes are quite nice without him( although u can see the commercials reasons as to why he was on there)

Akon is on there because Nate dogg is unable to.

I seriously think Nate Dogg's condition will hurt the overall detox product.

None of the released Detox singles, "Kush" or "I Need A Doctor", are produced by Dr. Dre. That's Khalil & Alex da Kid.
