"What is within, is without" "As above, so below"

The pituitary gland is our inner moon, also called the Master gland and responsible for controlling the other glands as part of the endocrine system regulating hormones

The Moon is said to regulate the tides, affect behaviour and linked to reproduction cycles.
Once people used to use the moon to grow their crops and followed the moon cycle rather than the sun. I believe that to be changed to take away the spotlight from the moon. Pituitary promotes growth, regulates water balance and has a hand in reproduction the same as the moon!
If DI hasn't mentioned this in his new book he should have.

Look at the functions of the pituitary gland...

Pituitary Gland, master endocrine gland in vertebrate animals. The hormones secreted by the pituitary stimulate and control the functioning of almost all the other endocrine glands in the body. Pituitary hormones also promote growth and control the water balance of the body.

The pituitary gland makes these types of hormones:

Prolactin - Prolactin stimulates milk production from the breasts after childbirth to enable nursing. It also affects sex hormone levels from ovaries in women and from testes in men.

Growth hormone (GH) - GH stimulates growth in childhood and is important for maintaining a healthy body composition and well-being in adults. In adults it is important for maintaining muscle mass as well as bone mass. It also affects fat distribution in the body.

Adrenocorticotropin (ACTH) - ACTH stimulates the production of cortisol by the adrenal glands. Cortisol, a so-called "stress hormone" is vital to our survival. It helps to maintain blood pressure and blood glucose levels.

Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) - TSH stimulates the thyroid gland, which regulates the body's metabolism, energy, growth, and nervous system activity. This hormone is also vital to our survival.

Antidiuretic hormone (ADH) - ADH, also called vasopressin, regulates water balance. If this hormone is not released properly, it can lead to too little hormone (called diabetes insipidus), or too much hormone (called syndrome of inappropriate ADH). Both of these conditions affect the kidneys. Diabetes insipidus is different from the more well-known diabetes mellitus (or type II diabetes), which affects the levels of glucose in our bodies.

Luteinizing hormone (LH) - LH regulates testosterone in men and estrogen in women.

Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) - FSH promotes sperm production in men and stimulates the ovaries to enable ovulation in women. Luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone work together to cause normal function of the ovaries and testes.

In our past people would use moon cycles as contraception.

Also the endocrine system seems to fit rather nicely into the chakra system.

Third eye chakra - pituitary and pineal?

Throat chakra - thyroid?

Heart chakra - thymus?

Solar plexus - adrenal and/or pancreas?

Sacral chakra - ovaries/prostate?

Root chakra - testes/clitoris?

Ok so I'm guessing with the above bit but I'm not one for coincidences.

The chakra system if linked to the endocrine system is again linked into emotions linked into chemical messages through the endocrine system

Does that make sense?

If they feed off our emotions in some way, is this also the chemical messages coming from the endocrine system?

Sex pouring out chemicals from the base chakra, prostate?

Fear pouring out of the pancreas? (you know how your stomach feel in knots when in fear)

Hate from having a broken heart. (I know when I have felt love it feels like my heart has blown up like a balloon)

Inability to speak the truth because we don't know the truth! Thyroid

Pituitary and pineal decoding our reality the way they want us (or we want to) see it.

I have heard it said that the pituitary and pineal both work together to create our dreams but I can't remember where I read it.

Whoah! This looks like a really good website. gonna spend some time on this one

The pineal gland or epiphysis synthesizes and secretes melatonin, a structurally simple hormone that communicates information about environmental lighting to various parts of the body. Ultimately, melatonin has the ability to entrain biological rhythms and has important effects on reproductive function of many animals. The light-transducing ability of the pineal gland has led some to call the pineal the "third eye".

Reproduction

Functions of the pituitary gland:

Each lobe of the pituitary gland produces certain hormones.

anterior lobe:
growth hormone
prolactin - to stimulate milk production after giving birth
ACTH (adrenocorticotropic hormone) - to stimulate the adrenal glands
TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone) - to stimulate the thyroid gland
FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) - to stimulate the ovaries and testes
LH (luteinizing hormone) - to stimulate the ovaries or testes

posterior lobe:
ADH (antidiuretic hormone) - to increase absorption of water into the blood
by the kidneys
oxytocin - to contract the uterus during childbirth and stimulate milk production

pineal = 3rd eye

i dunno what pituitary gland would be in that parallel

i know that melatonin pills help develop your physical 3rd eye, it's important to increase your biological part to increase spiritual potential

but... what could help the pituitary gland biologically?

dont eat pillz take lsd in a good envirement once in a half year or jus dont take nuthin, all the chemicalz to stay sharp or improve health or find happyness are within the body.
the hidden cross training for pineal, and tai chi or qigong for the pituitary to balance energy incomingz, its a energy gate way, like the palmz in the center of handz and feet, pituitary basicly is your balance system for the body ! and the root chakra holdz u down , end of the tail bone, earth connection, outward energy flow back to the crown and palmz, remember the bubble, aura energy, not to be seen untill u improve the pineal, after some tai chi u can feel the enrgy goin tru the body and stir it to destination, i tink its possible after chi develupment to let energy flow outward from the palmz and crown for healing, slappin candlelightz costantly out first , create a perfect moment for the hit and it will go out even when creating a bigger distance, its a measurement, your conscious is your divine piece of chi the inviceble energy or call it life force, the spirit body, when its not down with the mind ego takes over

I'm thinking SHEN. It's not really a chemical though.

-_- over 10 grams of melatonin per day could cause negative side effects but 5g per day is a safe consumption.

i just wanna know what is good for the pituitary gland cuz melatonin = pineal.
