so apparently medical science has advanced enough that it might be possible for a doctor to fix the D.O.C.'s voice, and he's considering getting the procedure done and if it works out, possibly recording a new album. also, he's ended his working relationship with Dr. Dre after 23 years. here's the interview with the D.O.C. in which he talks about all of this:

Even if he goes through with this surgery, it would take years of recovery and most likely speech therapy to get back into vocal shape to step into a booth and record.

I wish him all the best, but it's not gonna be a quick fix and then he's back to rapping again.

All that said, I'd cop a new D.O.C. album without question.

Good news on the voice surgery. Let's just hope it doesn't get fucked up more.

sorta sucks he's splittin from dre but i wish him the best on the surgery. i'll be first in line for a new doc album.
