Do you think that Eminem would have outshined Nas on the track like how he did Jay-Z? All his albums have all this goofy material but when Eminem gets on serious matter like on 'Renegade' or 'It's Ok', he just comes off so good as an MC. I think NaS would have been concerned about dropping a verse with Em, but you never know if Nas might up the ante and drop a Verbal Intercourse verse.....but what do you think?

"The niggas that used to have a nigga little nervous was like B.I.G., Pac. Even Canibus, like Eminem. Them niggas you'd have to like... if we go at it dog we gotta do it hard!" - Nas

Do you think Eminem would have murdered the track like he did with Jay-Z or do you think Nas would have held his own.

2 differant types of mc's. technically em would have outshined him at the time but i probably still would have enjoyed nas's verse more. i just don't really dig em's sound. just like on notorious thugs technically each member of bone took the cake over biggie, but people out their that think bone is doodoo won't see it that way. 2 different sounds.

What do you think are the best Nas verses from that era?

I think:
Renegade
Marshall Mathers (1st verse)
Rock Bottom
Remember Me

Nas was falling off during this era so Eminem, if it was pre illmatic to 96 however... Verses like Verbal Intercourse, Live at the BBQ, Eye for an Eye, B ez. Probably have to go with Nas.

Yeah shit Em verses. I think 1996, Nas would have taken it but in 1999-2001 Em would have destroyed him.

they are two completley different emcees. the Verbal intercourse verse is better than anything Slim Shady ever did tho but thats just my opinion but you cant base one verse. Nas fell off a while ago because he picks garbage beats
