Personally, I thought my Ghetto Report Card was a dope album, but for some reason I haven't listened to much of his other stuff.

Listen to Tell Me When To Go, sick track.

In a Major Way and Hall of Game are his best, but if you like 40 I would recommend anything up to Ghetto Report Card.

"My Ghetto Report Card" and "Ball Street Journal" are some of the phaaattteeest Bay Area hyphy albums of all time. His stuff from the 90's is hit or miss. (It was mostly gangsta, lowridin' simple produced type rap.) He's a rapper that has gotten better with time for sure. Check those two albums out and see what all the hype about him (and the hyphy movement) is about. If you like those, you might also like Too $hort.

@b&b how u gonna say listen to his new shit and shy away from his previous albums when his albums during the 90's were some of the best of the era. fuck hyphy. u say you from the town yet offer up his most mainstream shit lol.

threadstarter, listen to in a major way and game related (the artist is 'the click', basically e 40 and his cousins) then move towards towards charlie hustle, THEN u can listen to his newer watered down shit like my ghetto report card.

if u wanna know where e 40 became a legend it's somewhere between in a major way and game related.
