I have, unfortunately. I wish I could've done more so that person could be alive, but in the end, I failed. It sucked but all I can do is to try to move on with my life.

my 1st love,the only girl who ever understood me and suppported everything i ever wanted to do died of it,if i ever do make some serious kinda money,i wanna donate to research towards the cure for this thing

Wow, sorry to hear that...
My great grandmother.
She was 91, so it's not like it was some sudden shock or that she was too young.
I was about 10 or 11 when that happened.
Death doesn't really impact me like it does others.
I guess you have to fear death in order to become grief stricken by it.

Yeh, my mum died of pancreatic cancer when I was 16 (I'm 19 now), was horrible watching her health slowly deteriorate.

I can't imagine going through something like that @ 16.
Hopefully that tragedy helped you learn things about the strength of your character and the people around you.

Cheers dude. I learnt a lot from many people through the experience. My dad started drinking very heavily so I don't live with him now but there were a lot of people who helped me through and I feel stronger because of it.

some cancers are genetic, its a curse on mankind
same with diabetes
many men in my family have had either/or both
so far so good with me but man you never know
