got rid of a right-panned ride that mightve been too much percussion and the crash is a lot lower on the second, and cut all reverb on the snare

I haven't listened to it through my headphones, it's better this way, but still the kickdrum clusterfuck is not my thing.

I think I finally nailed that addictive drums kick tho, got it tighter than a tectrus asshole and I used only AD settings, got all my drums on one channel actually

Did you shorten the tail in the envelope settings? ? That's what I did, plus I layer them with crunchy vinyl drums. I also only use one channel.

Quick tip, on the master channel in AD, shave off the bottom 55hz.

yeah I been shortening the tail for a while but it still wasn't thumping how I wanted until this beat - couldn't say exactly all I changed but I think it mostly had to do with the compression settings
good idea on the kick layer... I do that sometimes but didn't on this one - layered my kick with a hat tho
