after one of my friends got diagnosed with tinnitus im suddenly concerned about the type of damage i might be doing to my ears. i always went with the logic that as long as the volume level doesn't hurt your ears then its all good, but apparently prolonged exposure to what one might assume is pretty standard levels of sound could be damaging in the long term

... but then again he's in a band so that might have had something to do with him fucking up his ears.

I got good in ears with isolation. It really depends in the volume of the music itself. On my speakers I never go above a level that allows a normal conversation in the same room without raising my voice.

My cassette player has one of those volume limiting things too, but I usually go above it.

My hearing has always been an issue ever since a child. Nothin too major though.

if im wearing good in ear ones that block noises, i dont even think i could dial it all the way up to a 100 without crouching in pain. if you have some relly fly in ear headphones and you still have to put ur ipod volume to max then maybe you should see a doc. i mean if your into the music biz like you niggas are, then conserving your hearing should be your number 1 priority imo

i actually don't use my in ear ones much anymore, when im around the house i use dj style ones cuz their much more comfortable like your listening to speakers in a room and it doesn't completely block my hearing which i hate.

Those stupid looking ear bud things always fell out of my ears and reminded me of something a little girl would use.

It sounds like Racks On Racks On Racks.

I always have my shit at full volume. It just sounds better loud.
