gonna be rockin to My Hip Hop soon

i love everything about this album front to back, classic release. ill do up a little review some time later on here, but hit me up and we can discuss the album in more detail if ya want.

this is like history on wax, it may not be the longest history to record but imo a vital one for music, and hip hop. it covers everything from DJs, to breakin, to graf to emceeing and it all is carried very well with the addition of documentry cuts in there.

for those that have listened and to those that will listen, really take the time to focus on this tape, place your self in the time period and let the music carry you. it like one of those movies were each story is a flashback to "the good ol days" yet maintains a upgraded sound.

also take the time to listen to intricate work that 7th lays out with his drums and samples, you may hear things that surprise you. not only are there the obvious dope chunky kicks and crisp snares but a lot are comprise of different sounds to create instruments (IE. Taggers Delight, check the spray can noises)

another big ups to the emcees on here, Something From Nothing and Honey Drippin are bonkers imo, both go in with pure lyricism, body slam music and two of my favourite beats on the tape. Soul Poet was dope imo, never really heard anything from him but i like his style. Rap Nav, imma have to agree with Notik, the beat was real dope one of my favourite leaks that i got, but i dunno the emceeing was quite there, especially comparing Honey Drippin to Rap Nav, felt Sinapse could have done better

now that i did write up my little review, time to go back and enjoy the album more lol.

PEACE 7th, keep splashin em fam and let em know that true school flavour is still alive
