Any fans of the west coast sound? I've been bumping alot of the classic realeases lately as well as some newer albums. Favorite west coast album so far this year have been Kendrick Lamar Section 80, Glasses Malone Beach Cruiser, and Jay Rock Follow Me Home.
Post your favorite albums and songs!

Haven't gotten around to listening to the Jay Rock album, but west coast is the most promising region of up-and-coming rappers nowadays to me.. Beach Cruiser & Section.80 are both great.
Since they tend to be forgotten in between Cube, Pac Snoop, Dre & Cypress, I'll throw in some classic Freestyle Fellowship:

Anyone ever gone through Daz's catalogue? It's pretty massive. I heard there's lots of filler but a few bangers on each album. I might give it a go this winter.

Above the law - uncle sam's curse, black mafia life, time will reveal
Ray luv- forever hustlin
Aceyalone- all balls don't bounce and a book of human language
Mac mall- illegal business and untouchable
Dogg pound- dogg food
Souls of mischief-93 til infinity
Ice cube death certificate
That classic west coast sound is really missing nowadays. The production was so dope back then, i just wonder what the fuck happened. That Kendrick Lamar cat is alright, I liked his album but it wasn't mind-blowing or anything.
food for thought

the most creative and artistic west coast groups are Abstract Tribe Unique and Freestyle Fellowship.
