View Full Version : Great new MC EIHT single

if you didn't know DJ Premier is the executive producer of MC Eiht's upcoming album "Which Way Iz West". he will have about three beats on it plus doing alot of scratches and mixing i suppose. but the main producer is this guy Brenk Sinatra which is ill. i think the album is supposed to drop on Year Round Records too but i'm not sure.

Hot, brand new MC Eiht single called "I Need That" from his upcoming full-length "Which Way Iz West" dropping later this year. Like the previous singles, this is produced by Dutch beatmaker Brenk Sinatra and I must say that he and Eiht displays crazy chemistry. He seems to be the main producer of the project which sounds great to me! Of course, DJ Premier will also be lacing a few tracks for the album which is hard to complain about though haha. If you didn't know he's the executive producer of the LP, and here's what he had to say about this single - "MC Eiht and his producer Brenk Sinatra keeps hittin' the streets with dat gutter hood shit. Officially for true heads of ghetto music!". Spotted @ DJPremierBlog (http://www.djpremierblog.com/2011/09/16/exclusive-mc-eiht-i-need-that-prod-by-brenk-sinatra/), peace.

also i don't think the first video and single from the album was posted here before, another incredible record with cuts by Premier and beats by Brenk Sinatra again.

Preemo should be lacing more hot wax for Eiht instead of giving it to that gay ass Mac Miller (http://www.djpremierblog.com/2011/09/15/exclusive-mac-miller-face-the-facts-prod-by-dj-premier-cdq/) (beat is straight too but that kid is WACK and corny!)

and also if you didn't know already, another song, possibly from the album was featured on the YRR compilation "Get Used 2 Us". the song also has cuts by Preem and production by Brenk. they made a video for it too:

Nice, keep people posted so I know when the album drops. Eiht been making good music for twenty plus years, unreal.

Sounds nice. This is the mellow, mature Eiht which I'll have to get used to hearing after classics like Hood Took Me Under etc. I've been hoping to hear the darkness of the West Coast come out in his music in 2011, but who knows maybe he's moved on at this point. It sounds like he's using mostly East Coast type sound rather than bringing the signature production sound of the West.

I'm a MC Eiht fan but he hasn't made a good album in a very long time. So i won't be checking for his new album. Last album of his i heard was Affiliated and i didn't like it. That came out in 2006 i think. We Come Strapped was his last good album. I like the collabo album Pioneers that he did with Spice 1.
