That point is whether so called Jesus ever existed is irrelevant, the message is clear, the question is did you get the message?

Before Jesus began leading his disciples, John the Baptist was the man.

41 Many came to him and began to say, “John performed no miraculous sign, but everything John said about this man was true!” (John 10:41)So John wasn't doing anything supernatural, but his word was truth.

I believe it is quite obvious that Jesus' "enlightenment" occurred when he was baptized by John the Baptist in the Jordan River.

22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. But the interesting thing is that a hesitant John was quite the prophet and said these chilling words:

Matthew 3:14

14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?

But it seemed John the Baptist didn't entirely know who Jesus was:

29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. 30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. 31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. 32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. 33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. So what age was Jesus when he was baptized by John the Baptist?

From what I can tell they were close in age. Which isn't the way it's always portrayed in the movies.

We know that Jesus was the son of Mary and John the Baptist was the son of Elizabeth. We read about this in Luke 1:1 which explains John's parents during the rule of King Herod. This gives us some reference points.

Judging by Luke 1:26 I reckon John the Baptist was about 6 months older than Jesus. The Angel Gabriel had visited Elizabeth, then it reads the "sixth month" which I believe refers to her pregnancy:

And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was MaryLong story short...John the Baptist was about 30 when he baptized Jesus, and Jesus was about 30 too. John the Baptist was beheaded when he was somewhere between 32 or 33 years old. John the Baptist was more popular than Jesus at that time. King Herod feared John the Baptist but didn't really know about Jesus.

Matthew chapter 14 For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife. 4 (http://bible.cc/matthew/14-4.htm)For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her. 5 (http://bible.cc/matthew/14-5.htm)And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet. One important thing to note is that others were coming to John the Baptist to REPENT for their sins. But Jesus was without sin. John hesitated to baptize him until Jesus explained that it was "to fulfill all righteousness."

The sad thing is that even John the Baptist had doubts about Jesus according to Matthew chapter 11

2 (http://bible.cc/matthew/11-2.htm)Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, 3 (http://bible.cc/matthew/11-3.htm)And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another? 4 (http://bible.cc/matthew/11-4.htm)Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: 5 (http://bible.cc/matthew/11-5.htm)The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6 (http://bible.cc/matthew/11-6.htm)And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me. But this was before Jesus was walking on water over the sea to the disciples in their boat.

30 years old was older back then. People didn't live to be 70, 80, 90 years old (ok ok in the old testament they lived hundreds of years). So if you aren't 30 yet, you still have time to repent for your sins and have some enlightenment in your life. Up to that point Jesus had been a carpenter. The B.I.B.L.E. mentions many times that Jesus attended the temple and listened to the priests discuss scripture and pray while he was a boy.

While looking up some scripture i stumbled upon this website (http://petragrail.tripod.com/page5.html) which I opine to be a good analysis and discussion of precisely WHEN Jesus was born. Again, it uses reference points, the death of King Herod, and the day of Yom Kippur to quote it:

Yom Kippur. The Day of Atonement. The 10th day of the seventh month of the
Hebrew calendar. So according to Luke Chapter 2 the day Jesus was born can be argued to be 9 months plus 40 days before this day:

In his second chapter, Luke tells what happened the day Mary came to the
Temple for purification 40 days after the birth of Jesus. All one has to know is what
day this was. And Luke plainly names the day. In fact, he includes three statements
identifying the day. So what day was this? Yom Kippur.

he always knew what his calling was.

That depends on whom you ask. If I'm not mistaken, Holy Universal Catholic Church (with approval by Pedobear) teaches that he learned he was God's Son at age 12.

The first novel in the series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (changed in some countries to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone), begins near Harry's eleventh birthday. Half-giant Rubeus Hagrid reveals Harry's history and introduces him to the wizarding world.

So close...

the real thing about your name is that The Father who becomes the Sun, was shot down in 6.69, in the 666's hopes to capture and use his afterbirth...who was born white [light-skin] on the 3rd day ['71], realized as ant christ [schiz'] in 8.96...worked his way to a tone ment by 1999...who do I claim to be...
