If you haven't picked this album up yet, do it. Shit is amazing. One of my favorite albums of the past couple years.

You can literally listen to it back to back all day long.

I'll check it out no doubt - never heard the album (or the artist)... I'm always on the lookout for the next personal gem.

My recommendation for you in the same department would be:

Foreign Exchange - Connected (http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0001ZMWWI/qid=1130567447/sr=8-15/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i15_xgl14/702-4345061-2288005)

Peace.

I don't know why people freak on the Connected album, it's good, I love Phonte, but I ain't really feelin' Nicolay's shit that much, I'd recommend The Listening or some other shit like that before it.

I don't know why people freak on the Connected album, it's good, I love Phonte, but I ain't really feelin' Nicolay's shit that much, I'd recommend The Listening or some other shit like that before it. Based on how much I like the album, I'm stunned that people could not like Nicolay's stuff... that said, of course it's an opinion and some people aren't into the style of beats he makes. Basically, I should have said that if you like real smooth, melodic, jazz/electronic-infused, laid-back beats - you'll love it. If you like strictly sample-based hip-hop that's got more of a raw edge, it probably isn't for you.... fair enough.

Me personally, the Connected album honestly makes me feel happy about life when I listen to it... it's a real feel-good thing for me. Sounds corny I know, but that's how it is for me.

PEACE!!
