dude are you serious?

this was obviously set up by these liberal freaks.

Nice disobey shirt, bruh.

Theye didnt rough them up, they cuffed them, they were being annoying on purpose. ooooh they told them to shut up.

jesus..white people problems.

Dr. Simon Hurt

^that might all be true, but how can you defend park rangers handcuffing and bodyslamming people for dancing and a married couple for kissing?

you can't rationally defend that, stop being the contrarian just so you can write "grumble grumble liberals grumble".

Olive Oil Goombah

stop looking at my insulting of liberal idiots as if im in the liberal vs. conservative war. Im not.

what shall I call them? Millenial hippies?

The ranger didnt do anything, but attempt to cuff them. The first two didnt resist and didnt get put to the ground. Its that simple.

And we came in right at the arrest so theres alot we didnt see. They were probably being annoying and disruptive to other tourists. Of course, thats just an educated guess.

LOL the guy screaming "i have a bad shoulder!!!"

jesus...like i said...

and i'll expand it.

rich white yuppie protestor problems.

lol god forbid someone annoys you in public in a nonviolent fashion
the fact that people in the crowd were defending them makes me think your guess isn't educated

next time someone isnt using their inside voice at barnes and noble im going to demand legal action. simply escorting them away just wouldnt cut it for me, i want them to have a record for disrupting me.

I guess it's "wrong", but I will never get worked up over a bunch of douchebag soul controllers getting the business.

Think about it. They are protesting. By doing nothing but being annoying. What's the point? If they didn't get arrested, nobody knows, cares, or understands what they are doing.

They were probably ecstatic to be arrested. In fact, I'm almost positive that the next morning they logged on to their favorite mid-90s hip-hop website and bragged about it to all their middle-class online cracker friends.

AND if someone introduced a bill that made it illegal for people to act like douhebags, I would vote for it.

If I voted. Which I don't. I voted once, for Obama, just to see how it felt to vote with a black man. It was nice, but now I'm older and I've got voting out of my system.

In all seriousness though, if somebody is being disturbing, and people complain, and someone alerts the police, and then the police tell the annoying person to quit, and they don't, what should happen?

As far as im concerned white ppl dancing is a crime in itself, so hopefully they were brought to Gitmo without trial.

that last question is awfully vague - there's a hundred variables that could go into it

for 95% of cases - if the complaints are reasonable - just escort them away. its been working for bars anyway

in this specific case i think the real douchebags are people that could possibly feel disturbed or annoyed by people hugging or dancing in public. not even in a crowded place.

How can you reprimand people for being annoyed, when the entire point of those hugging and dancing was to disturb people?

Again, I can't fully condone those people getting arrested for that, and back when I was a boy, i had more than several run-ins with the police, and got in plenty of trouble for shit that I felt was unreasonable.

And you can escort someone from a bar, but if they refuse to leave, the police aren't just going to escort more convincingly...

i dont have all the answers dan

in a perfect world you should have the right to punch annoying people in the face

if the police punched that dancing dude in the face and didnt arrest him id feel a lot better about it. if they did absolutely nothing id feel even better. i just hate seeing people go through the justice system over small shit

dude, those kids got a ticket for public disturbance and sent home.

Going through the justice system. LMAO...who are you kidding. Those were park police.

ANd yes, there is a certain respect which is expected at any sort of war memorial or museum....like a library.

This isnt a fucking bar, its not the park, if you are not there to partake in its purpose, you shouldn't be there.

These kids were total douchebags, i refuse to defend them because they weren't wronged in any way shape or form.

IF the park officials beat the shit out of them and left them a bloddy mess, thats one thing.

But this was the most meaningless bullshit ever.

How soft has this country gotten where this is injustice?

This is why protesting makes no sense. They sometimes end up giving money to the system - judges, lawyers, cops.

If people act civilized, those people of the system are mostly irrelevant.

okay nicky, next time you see a couple nodding their head to library music make sure you notify the police promptly

You mean how soft has this country gotten, when people dont see a problem with people being harassed and arrested for hugging and gently swaying?

the only softness displayed in that video was that the friendly citizens didnt beat the police to death in self defense.

true, I wasnt referring to the video. That was very refreshing to see that some people actually realized how redickulous the situation was and voiced there opinion about it.

I was implying that Nicky was soft for thinking that the cops "I AM THE LAW" bullshit was ok
