Even with that great lineup, I'm still not gonna listen because of Khaled.

^ over a JUSTICE League beat too... this is fucking HEAAAATTT... how he hell can someone pass on this bc it's DJ Khaled, he's not a producer or anything, he has a few ad libs at the beginning and that's it. incedible song.

Please get rid of this mindstate.

Well, if all he did was some libs on the intro then I can just skip that part.

And the lineups Khaled puts together aren't all that great most of the time, this track being an exception I'm sure.

So get rid of the mindstate that whatever plays on 106 & Park or in clubs is anything other than mediocre horse shit just because it's popular or heavily rotated.

And before you tell me I'm hating on shit just because it's mainstream, look at my sig.

It doesn't get more mainstream than that.

khaleds had a few good tracks over the years.

mainstream hip hop has about as much trash as underground hip hop and as much good stuff.

I would agree with that asessment.

And I've heard plenty of Khaled's albums, a lot of people down here bump that shit.

I knew who Khaled was before he even was, back when he was a pirate radio DJ.

There's maybe a handful of songs from his projects that I've enjoyed.

THANK GOD! I thought I was the only one who felt this way. And Nas bodied this shit

LoL this right here is the truth

So far nobody ITT had disagreed with the statement.

It's just that there is a pretty heavy bias toward underground shit around here, so some people attmept to go the opposite route to counterbalance said bias.

In the end, we all just come off like a bunch of assholes lol.

That's why just about all of the generals and RA the Rugged Man can't fucking stand us.

I mostly agree with this except for these two tracks on his new album:

5. They Ready feat. J. Cole, Big K.R.I.T. and Kendrick Lamar (Prod. by J.Cole)
7. Hip-Hop feat. Scarface, Nas & DJ Premier (Prod. by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League)

You can't really put down either of those.

^Right, those are decent.

But more often than not Khaled uses the same cast of characters, pairs a lot of the same artists again and again with predictable themes, shitty R&B hooks and trendy producers.

And how many record labels/imprints is this fucker on?
