What's your favorite Kubrick movie? Sorry if I didn't put ''The Killing'', ''Killer's Kiss'' & ''Fear And Desire'', but I had to pick 10 of his movies, so I took his last 10 movies.

It's really hard to pick a favorite in Kubrick's movie repertoire, but I think my favorite is Clockwork Orange, closely followed by 2001, The shining, Full Metal Jacket, & Barry Lyndon (in any order). I loved the fast-forward sex scene in Clockwork Orange, my favorite scene I think with the ''ultra-violent'' scene in the house when he's singing ''I'm singing in the rain'' and assaulting the guy and his wife. Kubrick is a Genius.

Was The Abyss by Kubrick or Speilberg? If it wasn't, its Full Metal Jacket.

It a tie between 2001 and A Clockwork Orange for me. I saw that 2001 had no votes so I went with that.

I voted clockwork orange, but I love many of his movies. The shining is the scariest movie iv'e seen, fucking crazy. full metal jacket is also really dope, as is dr. strangelove, very comedic. Plus, 2001 is crazy when you're stoned|)

i voted The Shining, but for me its a tie between that & Full Metal Jacket.

used to watch the shining when i was like 8 or sumthin when i'd go visit my aunt, made it even scarier cos she lived right next to the woods and i'm in a strange house in a strange town.

eyes wide shut was good too & 2001 also, is Lolita the one with John Hurt in it ?? if it is it's quite good. havent seen the others unfortunatly, but i do think i'm gonna have to watch Clockwork Orange.

You sure have to watch it, this is a classic movie just like 36 Chambers for Wu-fans. Was there a Lolita with John Hurt?? I don't know, but the Kubrick one is with James Mason, Shelley Winters and Peter Sellers (the actor with three roles in Dr. Strangelove).

Stephen King didn't like how Kubric made the movie, that's why he made his own version never released in theaters, only for tv. But King's version is very good too.
