I mean it is obvious for must people on here 93-97 and I agree so many classics came out from the Wu-camp so those would have to be the best years.Just try and name all too many:
Six Feet Deep
Pick,Sickle and the Shovel
Mystics of the god
36 Chambers
WU-tang Forever
Tical
OB4CL
Ironman
Liquid Swords
Return To the 36
Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars
Lost Generation
A/K/A the Rugged Child

cuz im a Wu fan im gonna say from 93. but the REAL golden years were 88. Thats when it alll kicked off into what it is now, without those times of creativity nothing after would have been.

^ no, I didn't start listening to rap (techinically) till I was 6-7 cus the first album I ever bought was "Symphony in Effect" by Maestro Fresh Wes....I didn't understand a fuckin thing he was doin or sayin, but my bro was 11-12 at the time and I looked up 2 him, so whateva he listened 2 I listened 2. But I didn't officially listen 2 rap till I was 10 or 11.

I just prefer rap from the mid/late 80's cus all my fav artists camew from that era, Rakim, Maestro, RUN DMC, Public Enemy, Ice-Cube and my fav. Big Daddy Kane foo im not talkin about you i read, look on page 1 and youll see 14 year old kids say that 86 was the goat era

1988-1996

In particular, I'd say 1988, 1993, 1994 and 1995, I'd say 95 is the best year album wise, just fuckin' crazy.
