I don't know, but i think Slum Village got better since Jay Dee left. They are more lyrical now with the addition of Elzhi to the crew. Their new album titled "Slum Village" is dope & is worth coping. This album could easily be a 8.5/10
Elzhi has an ill flow, he can definitly hold a solo album. Jay Dee is a good producer, but i think Slum is doing good without him. I like the stuff he produces for Common, but i think he made average beats for his own crew.

Word man ! The whole CD reminds me of the days When "A Tribe Called Quest" were in their prime. Little Brother is good, but they are not the ATCQ of the yr 2 G's, Slum Village is. Can u imagine Elzhi on a track with Black Thought :hooray:

Good looks for tha Slum Village shout out....I always dug they music. I think they seriously fell off wit the last album they dropped so I'm glad they coming back strong.
