Yes, I am asking...and to kick off the build let me suggest that "each one teach one".

Do you agree? and what are your suggestions?
can we agree?

can we work together?

LHX

speaking personally -

what i want to hear:

a proposition that results in me getting my own food without the threat of being interrupted by ANYBODY
EVER
- this would be the only law - punishable by death

LHX - is willing to leave everybody in the world alone if they agree to leave him alone

i do not want to conquer the universe

can we work together?

lets find out
Peace

The only thing we could agree on is the truth.

simple, singular, whole, truth.

We can only work together if we can work in a simple, singular, and whole fashion whole meaning - using the mind and body while being motivated by a positive spirit/goal ... I think that makes sense...hopefully you see what Iam trying to say.

Personally, I would like to banish property, more specifically, I would like to banish immobile private property. no private property = no private power

i agree

my point of view of 'the war' is that you can go at it now
or
you can try to ignore it while it consumes you and you cant ignore it anymore

either way - you gotta deal with it

i totally agree

it helps to get an idea of what 'afterwords' would look like

i envision a planet
with 'life' on it

the difference between humans and animals is intangible (it cant be seen)

i dont think there is harm in living like animals
but
maintaining our mental sophistication (the imagination and the ability to create)

one of mans biggest downfalls is the 'im going to prove it to you' mentality

if anything is to get done - i dont want to prove anything to anybody - i just want to agree on a course of action

LHX
11-16-2005, 01:25 PM
also - i think the goal is a lot easier to determine if we also consider what happens AFTER the goal is reached

as in -
come together - get the job done

and then afterwards agree never to do anything stupid such as try to 'organize' or 'control' the planet ever again

no interruptions
no favors
no lending
no money

everybody is a farmer
everybody is a doctor
everybody is a construction worker

no more of this 'i will grow the carrots if you grow the potatoes' shit - thats one of the reasons we got into this mess in the first place

This is almost too good to be true...

Are we delusional? or are we just utopian dreamers?

How perfect it is - this planet you envision with 'life' on it and I am in love with it.

But, what will motivate the people to come together in agreeance of a course of action if not the very proof of the greatness of this or any alternative to the mess we are in?

I mean...whrere does the complacency come from? Is it the wealth the current government promises them?

While we evolve into thoughts of action which hinge on methods to change our world (micro and macro), others will remain stagnant and satisfied.

Is the course of action you speak about revolutionary in public or personal and reflective?

this part is about striking a balance

a balance between a vision that would motivate people
as well as the situation that it looks like man is being forced into because of the environment that he has created for himself

its kind of funny that you enjoy the image i posted

most people are terrified of it

maybe you are insane

hahaaaaaaa

the proof comes when every other possibility fails

it is a back-door approach

sort of like a process-of-elimination type deal

I mean...whrere does the complacency come from? Is it the wealth the current government promises them?

and the toxicity that we all consume and create unknowingly

While we evolve into thoughts of action which hinge on methods to change our world (micro and macro), others will remain stagnant and satisfied.

this is true

those people look more and more like fossils

they had their place and the fossils tell a story
but
you dont have to be a fossil collector

Is the course of action you speak about revolutionary in public or personal and reflective?
absolutely both

can you imagine what you would do if you didnt have the feeling that your personal health and well being was being held hostage?

we are only 2 people talking right now

i do likewise for you

an institution unto one's self is to understand the past where at in present and what's needed to make that future. in that process expand your shpere of energy like influence on those who are like minds. similar to a single cell who exist alone formimg the compolex organism.

be self sufficent in not having any authority directing your actions steering your thoughts sanctioning your voice. as you come into contact with others spread the knowledge you have they are willing to accept and put into effect. apply like straws where as a group break backs not knowing the one who stresses the structure. advocation of cells where the individuals are of same mind though not neccessarily in the same time zone - think globaly act locally. develop a platform-ground work from which no one can tear asunder spread through incorporation of all elements pertaining like the field theory of the super string in the realm of chaos - everything is involved to the various degrees of where on the line of to do per se.

apply eugenics mentally not in the physical.

more as i really think and not just answer.

Ok,

My understanding is that people in this thread want to
A - Live on a Farm
B - Live without government
C - Be in every way free, and all the time free

Sounds utopian to me.

But

I believe in government, I do not believe that people should be an institution unto themselves in every facet of they're lives. I believe in taxes, in organized programs, in people being able to construct real things from the power of they're majority opinions, and efforts. I believe that people who can think should keep the others in check, and vice versa.
Sorry, I didn't mean to break the chain of thought here, just droppin my 2 cents.

interesting

here is some stuff to consider tho -

1
there is a difference between living a farm
and
living in a garden

2
in terms of 'people constructing'
and
people being 'organized'

my question is - to what end?

organized to do what?
construct what?

the most innocent pursuit that this society has ever sold its people is the idea of 'exploring space'

but
how serious can you expect anybody to take space exploration
given the current situation that this planet is in?

i dont care what the sales pitch is
taking a chunk of material and blasting it into outer space in order to check things out
is not very sophisticated technology

also
3
we can have all the votes we want
but
why do people NOT EVEN HAVE THE OPTION of not participating in society?

i agree with you that it is wise to avoid utopian ideals

this isnt no whimsical-bliss-ninny-save-the-whales-hippy shit

It could be considered utopian, but what's wrong with striving for the perfect conditions to be alive in?

It could be said that those conditions are impossible, they don't exsist.

I don't agree, because in all of my studies of history I have not seen it attempted. So, really...who's to say what is utopian and what is not if there is nothing to compare it to?

I mean humanity has been had divine information and knowledge that has never been applied to society in a way as to benifit the masses. Why?

Because, it was used to enslave them and make them complacent with their given situation. Being totally free in everyway cannot be utpoian.

Utopian is the elite, greedy lives of the ones who are in money heaven because they control taxes, organized programs, and our food.

In the above highlighted could you explain why you feel this way, just wondering.

a subtle disagreement here

it seems more that it is the result of a lack of divine information that has caused enslavement

divine information was taken away
and
replaced by incorrect knowledge

like hollowing out the inside of a tree
and replacing it with something foreign

--- the tree will still grow - but it will be all fucked up

Utopian is the elite, greedy lives of the ones who are in money heaven because they control taxes, organized programs, and our food.

but
(the achilles heel)

what we are witnessing is a big swing-and-a-miss by the elite

My reply is simple. I like debate. I like argueing and reaching a concensus. I feel it's the only way.
There is a difference between a farm and a garden, and there are many ways to not participate in the daily race.

One component could be biodiesel, which is made from waste vegetable oil. In this way you could basically drive anywhere and never have to visit an Exxon again. It's also better for the environment.

Another could be hemp, which is nearly out-lawed in the US, but if legalized could be a whole other industry for this country.

There is also emigration. There is a country just to the North of the US, that is much more understanding to it's citizens than we are.

120 years, that's my prediction, the way things are. I give us 120 years, tops.

If you're serious, and due to the high level of conversation here, I think
you are, please consider this in integral steps that you can easily take to reach it. Just little things that when added up equal you're goal.

Lastly, election law.
It'd be nice of the reps actually listened to the people, and not only the money.

Alternative fual plants are making a big upswing. They are making Ethanol which is an additive to gasoline, you can blend it all the way up to 85% Ethanol and 15% Gasoline. Ethanol is made from corn, Chevy, Ford and Chrysler all make vehicles that can run mixed fuels like this.
Boidiesel is a different animal all together. Biodiesel is made by the person who uses it, for the most part. And is run in normal diesel engines. The diesel engine was made to run off of peanut oil in the beginning. This is a fact, look it up.
As far as the hate goes, that's a tall order. It's something that has to be taught over generations. Children must be taught to apply these theories. Home wasn't built in a day.

SlightlySlightedFan
02-17-2006, 12:19 PM
I meant 120 years, but 120 days could be accurate as well.

But in 120 years, there very likely won't be any air left to breathe, or water to drink. Or the sun's deadly rays will irradicate everyone, unless we can do that 1st.

this thread is beutiful

i remember many times people asking me wot i'd like to do wen i'm older and i say live on a self sufficient farm with a family and they think i'm wierd

sometimes i day dream about working out a formula to the share market, and setting up a computer to invest money following this formula, and then using this money to set up self sufficient communities all around the world so they don't need to use money ever again

or sometimes when debating about capitalism, and people ask me whats a better solution than money, how would anything get done, and i tell them out of the goodness of peoples hearts. u c something broken, u fix it. u c some1 struggling, u help them. then they tell me that would never work because people are greedy.

then i start thinking the only way my solution would work is if mankind evolved to have psychic abilities, to the point where u can't help but hear others thoughts or feel their pain but its not that impossible, because in humans whats left to evolve (although i dunno if i believe evolution theory) except the mind. maybe its not evolution, its remembering how to use parts of the brain we forgot. but just imagine it, u c some1 hungry, and your stomach hurts, so u go and give them food. or u c some1 lonely and u feel lonely too, so u go and give them a hug.

then this stuff about 2012 makes me start feeling optimistic again.

damn, i love u ppl on know the ledge. at least i'm not the only person on a quest for true knowledge

if ever any1 wants to build, my msn is notoriouspaz@hotmail.com, but if u one of those dudes that evry now and then makes a username to come into know the ledge and ridicule our search for knowledge, calling it paranoia, leave me alone

Right on, bro. I'm with you on the idea of people needing to 'evolve' in order to realise that they need to get along better. If it isn't people, society needs an overhaul. Too much emphasis on the wealth, and that wealth is in the hands of like 8% of the world's population so that shit can't be right.
As for wars, I'd like to think I'm not the only pacifist around, but I think they serve a more trivial purpose to satusfy man's lust for violence. Greed is greed, I've no idea how to tackle that one, as it takes too many forms, money is one, but how many assholes out there have beaten up a dude for going out with their old girlfriend or something? (or vise versea, for the ladies) That's still a form of greed, although more primal. Take the envy? Way too broad and problematic, as it could be said that it's envy that drives ambition, so go figure.
Either way, props to all the people posting up on this, you guys pushing all the right buttons
