every once in a while you get athletes who dont provide the bullshit interviews with the same repeated answers to questions ('i owe it to the team' - 'what ever the players association thinks is best' - 'just tried to get the bat on the ball' - 'just tried to find the open man' etc)

these are some of the best personalities i remember

barry bonds
carl everett (i dont believe in dinosaurs)

jalen rose
charles barkley

brett hull
jeremy roenick

MIKE TYSON (king of interviews for wanting to eat lennox lewis kids that didnt exist)

i gotta see if any of those peoples interviews are available online somewhere

Alex Ferguson, Scottish Cup Final, 1983. Interviewer offers congratulations for winning both the Cup Winners Cup against Real Madrid and the Scottish Cup against rangers in the space of a week and a half. Says Ferguson- "We’re the luckiest team in the world, we were a disgrace. Miller and McLeish won the cup for Aberdeen; they played rangers themselves. That was a disgraceful performance. Winning cups doesnae matter. Our standards have been set long ago and we’re not going to accept that from any Aberdeen team. No way can we take any glory from that."
