seriously

throughout history 'prophets' have been revered and held high for providing insights to people

to be able to deliver messages that foretell of something that was to come

the standard prophetic message is -
continue acting wickedly and you are going to catch hell

having access to the internet and all of the information available on the planet
all it takes is some determination and study to become similarly prophetic

it is not difficult to get some sort of idea where all this shit is headed

it is not possible (for a variety of reasons) to peg specific dates
but
by now
anybody with the slightest bit of deductive logic ability can tell where this ship is going

that being said
it may also be interesting to detemine whether the 'prophets' throughout history were actually trying to HELP people
or
spread trick knowledge from ignorant followers

(anybody read 'the satanic verses'?)

peace

You're right, we've seen a lot of "prophets". And many of them are called by a copywritten name. Sony, Ford, Nintendo, McDonald's.
And many a prophet has seen boobies that would go unseen if they, say, worked at a McDonald's.
And yeah the message is always act right or else. But, without the prophets the religions we have now. The Christians, The Jews, The Muslims, The Hindu, The Taoists, and yes, McDonald's. Humans might not be alive today to talk about it.
At any given time, any given person can say something. Other people might listen and as long as the message has an "or else" attached to it. People will act, panic will spread. Things will get done. Eventually. This is how we are here now, disgussing this. Not that there is a "here".
What I'm saying is that organizations, no matter what kind, get stuff done. And without the prophet there is no organization, nothing gets done.
