I was watching a show with a segment where people from unorthodox religions go on and ask for replies via email from potential mates of the saem religion.
A satanist guy was on. He said he believes simply in giving in to his carnal desires. So basically you do what makes you feel good. There is no divine reward or retribution.
Regardless of whether you agree with his view it got me thinking. Most people I see are Satanists, ESPECIALLY within orthodox religions.
The only difference is they use these organised belief systems to make them feel better about it. Most people never worship God by looking inside themselves and trying to improve who they are in His eyes.
Most people use what they believe to segregate themselves apart and above other groups. They use their beliefs to say how they live is right (it is often the case that religion conforms to society and culture and not the other way around!).
I just wanted to see what other people though on this.
Does man serve God, or have we got God serving man's wants?
