peace

this will work with just about any vegetable

carrots
broccoli
cauliflower
squash
turnip
beets
etc

what you need
- vegetable
- heating element
- steamer -- a pot that has a section with holes in it
- heating element
- optional -- knife

1 - clean your vegetable of choice with water
2 - break the vegetable to a preferred size - you can use a knife for this
3 - put about an inch or two of water in the bottom of the pot
4 - let the water boil
5 - put your vegetable into the section of pot with holes in it
6 - once the water is boiling - put the vegetables on top of the boiling water and put the lid on it
7 - the steam from the boiling water will cook the vegetables
8 - check the vegetables until they are at the preferred tenderness - you can begin checking after about 5 minutes depending on what kind of vegetable you choose
9 - eat vegetables when you are hungry
10 - wash your pot

tips
- dont let the vegetables get too soggy
- if you are cooking a vegetable that takes a long time - sometimes you will need to add more water if the water level gets too low - and you dont want to cook your pot

i cant think of any other way to mess this up

steamed vegetables go great with RICE
