I've started this project, where I post one smudge painting I've done everyday. I smudge photos into something new. I do this on www.smudgeproject.com. Every visit is motivation.

well, you're all entitled to your own opinion, but with this enhancement project, it should become more than just smudged photos, I believe that if I make enough of these, my ability will be over average..

skellington, like I said, I'm not modififying photos, I'm creating something new from them, so I won't take a photo of a flower and just smudge it a little. I'll take a photo of a landscape or people, and make it into completely new things, which takes time and creativity.

Ok, explain, what exactly is it that you do to these pictures then? Seems like you only...smudge 'em.

I smudge them into new art. I think ahead before I do them what I want to do, then I just take an old photo I've taken and smudge it.. I've added a labyrinth to the site now too.
