Cage is one of my favourite emcees, Hell's Winter was my favourite album of 2005.
I love how he is bringing rock and guitars into his sound and really making it work.

CAGE is a very dope emcee in order to appreciate hell'z winter you gotta catch up from his old material. I just ordered the new cage album called Favorite Bastard Babies , a new mix of underground shit... I've got most of cage's material / catalog honestly i'm missing at least 10 tracks other than that. i got every other track commercially released.. His dvd Home movies is bugged out too. Cage has a lot of material out as well... The kid is deep. He's currently working on a new album yet to be tittled.. Keep an eye out for him... Since you just got Hell'z winter you got to Check out Movies for the Blind... one of the best albums of 2003... totally. Release on Eastern Conference Records.
there is maybe 1 or 2 underground covers missing.. if i find i'll post enjoy
in order the covers are
1. Movies for the Blind 8.5 out of 10
2. Weatherproof e.p. 8.0 out of 10
3. Hell'z winter 8.5 out of 10
4. Bastard Babies (unknown)
5. Porn Again 8.5 out of 10
6. Nighthawks 7 out of 10
7. Leak Bros 9.5 out of 10
above are my honest opinions about his albums , 7 being the lowest score out of all his albums , i think that should show his quality work. Leak Bros being the highest point of satisfaction due to criteria on the album. But cage's work is very consistant up to date and not to mention intriguing. Definitely a good artist to support and not keep hungry because the game can really use his hip-hop. It's dark, it's grimey , it's 93 in it's prime.. in this new screwy millenium era... definitely listen , support and appreciate real hip-hop kiddies.
