Kool G Rap's 1995 Masterpiece is loaded with great tracks and classic production. With a great appearance from the almighty Nasir Jones on track 8- Fast Life, it cant get much better. Kool G Rap is a hip hop legend and this album is just one album to add to that testament. IMO I think its an essential album for any hip hop collection and its East Coast music at its finest. All hail G Rap. I gave it a 9. What do you think?

Great album. Certainly better than anything Kane could do... in his life.

This albums is CRAZY! Kool G got crazy lyrics, and the guests on the albums doing crazy verses too, Fast Life may be in my top 3 of the best rap song over..

And Money On My Brain, how the fuck can b-1 drop such a dope verse??

"Bloody money gets niggaz deaded and wetted
Don't forget it, money's the metal and my hand is magnetic"

It's simply amazing.

Great album. Certainly better than anything Kane could do... in his life.

donīt know the album. but i donīt think you can really compare them. kool g rap was first to put out street-gangsta rap on the eastcoast. kane did ghostwriting for roxanne shante and biz markie. his whole sound was different. both are legends but kool genius is still hungry on the mic.

kool g rap: way too underrated. and he doesnt get enough credit. despite he never had the commercial success he delivers great rhymes since decades.

For me its a banger or a bit better even,
"Its a Shame" "Blowin Up in the World" with Nas and "Executioner Style" was very good..Wanted:Dead Or Alive is real good 2

05-17-2006, 06:14 PM
^^ It's "Fast Life" with NaS on it. I voted classic "I got dead bodies stacked up for miles, when I gets wild I'm foul, you can go and check my file I'm killin' Executioner Style" or, or "4,5,6 is in the mix, I'm hittin 'em with trips HEADCRACKS time to get the bread back"! Too fucking street for these rap cats nowadays.

I Fuckin Love This Album...g Rap Best Imo Plus You Got A Young Violent Grimm In The Mix...dope!!!

06-15-2006, 05:09 PM
This album is hard. My favorite joints is It's A Shame, Take Em To War(Black Moon used this same beat on their 1,2 song on War Zone album), For Da Brothaz, Fast Life. Ya'll should peep Kool G Rap's The Giacanna Story album. That's tight too.

Great album. Certainly better than anything Kane could do... in his life.

what an ignorant statement

07-24-2007, 12:50 PM

And yeah, that statement is retarded, both Kane and G Rap are top 3 MCs and have at least 3 classic albums (G. Rap has Road to Riches, Wanted: Dead or Alive, his best:Live or Let Die, and 4,5,6. Kane has Long Live the Kane, It's a Big Daddy Thang, and Look's Like a Job For..)

07-24-2007, 01:00 PM
don't forget taste of chocolate, that shit is classic

i heard some of this shit and it sounds tight. G Rap seems very underrated and overlooked in my opinion

03-24-2008, 01:09 AM
9/10 I reckon. I love it, but there seems to be something I can't define missing that prevents it from getting a 10.

Nice to see Grimm on there as well.

What the fuck happened to B1 aka One though? He was quality and yet dissapeared.

03-31-2008, 09:19 PM
what the hells going on?? people giving this a 7, 8?

shit is a 10 easy. recognize your classic LPs. this album is timeless.
