Yeah Donuts is crazy, but I think if RZA wanted to come out with some instrumental albums that they would probably be better. J Dilla, legendary, one of the best ever. RZA, to me, THEE best ever. Going with RZA.

I prefer Rza's sound

Which sound tho?

RZA got so many styles shyt is crazy.

But like someone already said, this shit is apples and oranges.

Dilla is responsible for the neo-soul movement, & some of the hardest drum sampling you've ever heard.

RZA is a hybrid nigga, one day he'll hit you with a beat like Daytona 500. The next he's doin movie scores for 'Miami Vice' and shit.

Which sound tho?

The majority if his catalogue is actually great. Alot of the criticism he receieves is for later work for which he didn't have much input into the albums the work he was doing was going on. For his other work he is very much immaculate and I can confidently say ahead of his time.

Anyway, Rza is the only producer that I can think of that can produce whole albums that are actually worlds apart.

dilla was dope
but now hes dead yall wanna compare him with RZA?
he was a magnificent talent, for sure, but any one of these producers would be a better match for mr diggs:
1.DJ Premier
2.Pete Rock
3.Large Professor
4.Ski
5.Timbaland
6.Prince Paul
7.Clark Kent
8.Erick Sermon
9.Dr. Dre
10.Organized Noize

What I said went over your head. Let me break it down, RZA being hybrid just means that he can produce songs to completely compliment the artist he's working with. He just happens to work with the 9 generals. As you already know the Wu solo albums with RZA production sound nothing alike.

i'd have to say get fucked. Rza is the greatest ever producer.

no it didn't go over my head, i think what i said went over ur head...his entire style has changed in the course of over a decade you call him hybrid he just changed his fuckin style, he doesn't make daytona 500 type beats anymore think about it...

even tho RZA can compliment the artist's style he is so nice with it you can tell it's one of his beats. that's not being hybrid. that's being skilled.

n also i was mocking the fact u compared two beats that were made 11 years from each other when u said one day he can go from this to this

ima go with... the "back in the day" RZA, whos better by a little, but jay dee after 2000 is prolly better than rza after 2000, all time though, probly rza
