Anybody know if you can play this without registering to Valves Steam System. I went to buy it last week and it says on the box that you must have an internet connection and subscribe to Steam to use the game. I don't have the internet at home where i play my pc games?

well, go to someone who has register that game and you have it.
if it gives a code, write it down for later purpose because these suckaz have a shitty way of unlocking their shit, and it's bound to ask for it some time after installing the game. got it?
