Unless you are trying to be God, do not even bother reading the Torah, Injil, or the Koran. Other than that you are only propogating confusion.
Are you going to provide anything to substantiate your point of view? Or can I just delete this thread?

The substantiation is in all the debates that these books bring about. I made the statement because I do not see how one can debate righteousness or the truth. Any debate over these scriptures is driven by religion not by a search for righteousness

Are there any specific scriptures in the Quran that suggests one be god, or that one recognize that they were god(s)?

I do not know. Maybe "to be God" is over the top. What I am saying though is that are we reading these books in an attempt to get a better understanding of God, or to debate "history" or "facts" or prescribed rituals? Whatever you believe is the manifestation of God, a greater understanding of the sciptures would seem to lead you towards him/her/it. IMO a righteous place
