MF GRIMM Ė American Hunger in stores 06/27/2006!!!

"I added a bowl of blood to the table, I'm expecting guests."- MF GRIMM

The incomparable MF GRIMM has done it! He has truly achieved the impossible. The one known as Mad Flows (ďMFĒ) GRIMM has created an epic musical trilogy entitled American Hunger. The first triple cd in rap history will arrive in the form of the three essential daily meals: breakfast, lunch, and the last supper.

Each cd within the trilogy contains 20 tracks of outstanding lyrical dexterity, innovative song conceptualizing, and uninhibited raw emotion expressed over thick, grimey production saturated in soul music. The beats bang with incredible consistency on this record, a truly remarkable feat considering the daunting number of tracks.

Folks, all 60 songs are simply there on purpose. Filler? Sorry!! In the past, double cds have often been critiqued as one album too long. With features from Large Professor, PMD of EPMD, Ill Bill, Mr. Met, Block McCloud, Nate Denver, Monsta Island Czars and many others, including production by St. Louis' up and comer DJ Crucial and Bay Area bombers DNAE and Architect along with a host of new boardsmen, this album is bound to have an impact on the Hip Hop industry as we know it.

GM (Grand Masta) Grimm (formerly known as MF (Mad Flows) Grimm), born Percy Carey, (also known as Superstar Jet Jaguar or simply Jet Jaguar) is an underground (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Underground_hip_hop) rapper (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rapper) from Manhattan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manhattan). In the early 1990s (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1990s), he was known as The Grimm Reaper and was part of The Gravediggaz rap group (not to be confused with the Wu-Tang affilliated Gravediggaz (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravediggaz)). Grimm worked alongside his DJ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DJ), Roc Raida (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roc_Raida) of X-ecutioners (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-Ecutioners). He also collaborated with hip-hop legends like Kool G Rap (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kool_G_Rap) and KMD (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KMD).
Grimm was an experienced battle rapper (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_rap) and placed at the World Supremacy Battle of 1993. That year, he released his first 12Ē single, So Whatcha Want Nigga? and performed at the Jack The Rapper convention on Execution Night, sharing the stage with Lady of Rage (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lady_of_Rage), Tupac (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tupac_Shakur), and Dogg Pound (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dogg_Pound), in Atlanta (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlanta).
He was approached by several major labels (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Major_labels&action=edit) and may have been on the road to stardom when he was shot eleven times the following year in an attempt to kill him.
The wounds blinded, deafened and paralyzed him from the neck down. Doctors had evaluated that these senses would remain null to him for the rest of his life. However, Grimm fought back and miraculously recovered and won back his sight, hearing, and speech, but will be forever confined to a wheelchair (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wheelchair). During his hospitalization, he wrote Scars and Memories (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scars_and_Memories), an album that is now considered a classic. He went on to release several 12" singles on the Fondle 'Em (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fondle_%27Em) label and also collaborated with MF DOOM (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MF_DOOM) on an EP released by Brick Records (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Brick_Records&action=edit) entitled Special Herbs & Spices Volume 1 (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special_Herbs_%26_Spices_Volume_1&action=edit), but has since that time grown into a beef (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hip-hop_rivalries) with DOOM.
In the late 90s, he founded his label/international distribution company, Day By Day Entertainment (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Day_By_Day_Entertainment&action=edit), releasing the work of independent artists, including MF DOOM (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MF_DOOM)ís Operation: Doomsday (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation:_Doomsday). At around the same time, he put together his Godzilla (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godzilla)-inspired MC collective, the Monsta Island Czars (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monsta_Island_Czars).
In 2000 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2000), Grimm was sentenced to life in prison for conspiracy and narcotics charges. The Downfall of Ibliys: A Ghetto Opera (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Downfall_of_Ibliys:_A_Ghetto_Opera) was recorded by Grimm in 24 hours, out on a $100,000 bail for one day.
In jail, Grimm studied law and filed many counter-suits and eventually got his sentence reduced to only 3 years. Grimm is currently a free man.
He has since completed his sophomore album Digital Tears: E-mail from Purgatory (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Digital_Tears:_E-mail_from_Purgatory&action=edit) under his M.I.C. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M.I.C.) moniker Superstar Jet Jaguar. Grimm is currently working on his third album, American Hunger (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=American_Hunger&action=edit), as well as expanding his Day By Day Entertainment (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Day_By_Day_Entertainment&action=edit) label to cater rock (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_music) as well as hip hop (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hip_hop) artists.
MF Grimm recently changed his name to GM Grimm, for "Grand Master" Grimm.

i didn't know he got shot up and everything. it's good that he recovered.
