I have to say 10 years went by fast. I have to say 2006 does not compare to 1996. Although the Busta and ice cube and ghost are the only good things going thus far

Fugees - the score
Nas - It was written
Ghostface - Ironman
Xzibit - At the speed of life
de la soul - stakes is high
A tribe called quest - Beats, Rhymes and Life
Mobb Deep - hell on earth
Redman - Muddy Waters
The Lost Boys - Forgot the name of the album
Sunset Park - Soundtrack
The Great White Hype - Sound Track
Jay Z - Reasonable doubt
Busta Rhymes - The Coming
Tupac - All Eyes on me
Sadat X - Wild cowboys
Geto Boys - The resurrection
not really hip hop but straight raw music outhere bros
There is probably more that I have to think of

There was alot of hot singles.

Lost Boys album was called Legal Drug Money. 1996 was a good year for hip hop. High School High soundtrack came out that year and so did Keith Murray's Enigma album and Smoothe Da Hustler's album.

Where have you been? I would have thought it was obvious the mid ninties had the best shit, I mean isn't that what alot of people complain about?, how we all want that old raw sound back.

I wouldn't even count that ghost album to cube and busta 2006 decent hiphop list, and I think it's about personal taste truely only about a few of thost albims I like, 5 at moste so I would say that it's no different because it's about five albums I like now so???
