high pitched? Im quite sure the intention was to speed up the sample? first time i ever heard that technique in the way we know it today was RZA on Snakes. But i think there have been songs before that which had sped up samples but just werent as obvious as that, i think one or 2 were by Pete Rock before RZA but i aint 100%.

I thought Allah Mathematics was the first in the Wu crew to do that.

Nope...

the producer who did LL Cool J's " Around The Way Girl" circa 1990, is the 1st sped up sample joint..
