NICE TO BUMP IN THE SUMMERTIME
a bit long imo, they shoulda cut 2 or 3 songs near the end
otherwise very good album, the first chronic album was better, but i think theyre both classics
also i strongly believe 'detox' is gonna crush both those albums

I agree with you, could have been a bit shorter. I can't choose between the first chronic album and 2001. I enjoy both very much.

I can't wait for 'The Detox'... For when is it scheduled?

This album used to get serious rotation back when it came out.

I'm not sure. But it better be fuckin tight.

To me 2001 was classic and good for the time. Brought Dre back and pretty much solidified him as a legend.

9.5/10 - personal classic, some lyrics and mc's don't stand up to the dope production but still the beats makes up for it!

It's not better than The Chronic but it's good. I wish Dre wouldn't take so long to release a album.

My favorite Dre album, but they never impress me. Good beats with a solid guest spot here and there.

Beatwise, album is a complete 10/10. The instrumental version is far superior to the regular LP.

I want Dre to go back to this funky, reggae tinged style of beats. Imo he does too much of the ominous strings these days.
