I personally don't know shit about FL but I suggest trying to find website dedicated to it. I've at futureproducer.com lately. This is a good site just for production in gerneral and there's waaaay more users than what you'll find on the wu-corp, which is both good and bad.

I look at songs people make with reason and see how they put everything together. Its a good tool for seeing how to physically wire everything together, effects routing, etc. I'm not sure if this applies to FL exactly but the help is def. out there if you dig deep enough for it.

Peace.. yea it doesnt get much simpler than FL Studio but, there are also many methods that u can use to spice it up nah mean.. I alwayz stress learning for urself cuz dats how you develop your sound and everything.. so I recommend expirmenting wit tha different tools and what not...
