if you're engaged, you SET a date for the wedding, you don't SAID it. fucking idiots. do you SAID an appointment? no.. you SET one. fucking idiots. if you don't know what you're doing tonight.. do you have NO SAID PLANS yet!? no!! you don't.. unless, of course, you're a fucking idiot. when an album is coming out it's SET for release on the 7th of november. the release isn't SAID for retail distribution.. god damn I'm right!

whatever.. No Said Date or No Set Date, it's one of the best Wu albums to come out in more than 6 years..

Well, no date was said in that hypothetical conversation, but the label doesn't have even a tentative date set yet.

i know, i'm kind of kidding around. who knows if MK meant to say "set" or not. but i think maybe he chose "said" to convey the idea that the LP is finished but he's keeping it a secret until "the right time" or whatever. "no SET date" would imply that the LP is a product of numerous bullshit delays, and MK probably used "said" to tell wu fans that the 11 years have been well-spent making a good album.

The music industry and more specifically hip-hop has never followed spelling, grammer, and english rules in general. Just pick anyone of your albums and you will find a title of a track that isnt spelled properly....and it isnt spelled properly on purpose most of the time

It is easier to say "said" before "date" rather than "set", because of the "t" and the "d".

MK probably said "no set date" so many times during the 10 years before that release that he would often slur it and thats what it comes out to be. Now "no said date" has some meaning even though it doesnt follow the rules of english language.
