View Full Version : Def Jam Artists Set Summer Release Dates...

This summer is poised to be hotter than ever thanks to the scorching sun and blazing new albums from a slew of Def Jamís finest artists. Some of the biggest names on the label releasing new material this summer are DMX, who releases Here We Go Again on July 19 ; Teairra Mari releases her as-yet-untitled album on July 19; Young Jeezy (Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101, July 26); Ol' Dirty Bastard (A Son Unique, August 9); Kanye West's Late Registration hits the streets on August 16 ; Foxy Brown unleashes Black Roses on August 23 and there's Joe Budden's The Growth in stores August 23. N.O.R.E.'s album title and release date are still undecided. Def Jam should be renamed Push Back Records all they fuckin do is push shit back first Joe Budden now Kanye West. I thought ODB CD was comin out next month too. DMX shit was supposed to come out at end of month if i'm not mistaken.

Buddens wanted his shit pushed back, not enough hype yet. Unless you want him to do Jim Jones numbers (on a major), just wait

haha jim jones got 2 million when he released his album. he sold like what 250.000 copies and he gets 7 dollars a album sold. independent money is good money instead of being on a big label like def jam where you get not even 1 dollar per sold album.
