View Full Version : Another controversial opinion on Kingdom Come - Production

Kingdom came, Jay-Z gone Aftermath. With a third of the album covered by Dre I don't know how to see it from other angle. Even Game's debut had less Dre on it.

But OK, what I wanted to say is that this album definitively proved that DRE AIN'T GREATEST ANYMORE. He fucked up first on Big Bang, now with thissss... Only Dre produced track I actually enjoyed, was Beach Chair, which I believe has more Chris Martin than Dre in it. Other OK track was Minority report, other was shit. (Which is better than garbage... um, "How We Do It Over Here")

Just Blaze, Jay's longtime 1st place producer, now has only 3 tracks compared to five Dre's... But all three are better than any Dre's track on that shit! Compared to Black Album Blaze improved GREATLY.

And not to forget, B-Money, DJ Khalil, Kanye West and that newbie Scyence straight SUCKED!!!!

Okay, plate's here, bring the beef.

Dre's saving all of his good beats for Detox. At least I hope so.

Beach Chair is entirely produced by Chris Martin - no Dr. Dre in it! They were in London together in the studio and Chris Martin and his wife Gwyneth Paltrow even joined Jay on stage on his gig in London.

btw: I think that Chris Martinīs production is good. Even more if you consider he is an Idie-Rocker.

beach chair is dope
the only decent dre produced track on there is 'lost ones', which to me is an instant classic

doctors advocate had 0 dre beats and i liked it much more than jays album with had dre beats all over it. I hope this doesnt mean hes fallin off, thatd suck. Especially with detox and ob4cl2 looming...

surprising how such a bad album could generate so much controversy.

Beach Chair is beyond wack.

Minority Report is dope, but on the whole, yeah Dre came weak.
