"realize today is the first day that begins forever" - Nasir Jones on
nothing lasts forever
therefore to begin it must end
because why would it begin if it didn't reach the end?
and even if that is the case then what would be the point of constantly beginning and never ending to begin and finishing?
maybe existence is based on a concept like this?
if "i" was the 'beginning' i would not plan to begin and never end but
instead i would for sure want to achieve an end after a long beginning.
this can go deep.
and everybody can reflect on this quote in their own way
peace to nas for the creativity and lyrical spirit
luv
perhaps we are under an illusion of the nature of beginnings / endings
all endings, if observed closely, seem to be nothing more than climaxes rather than this notion we have of a complete halt and disappearance
from a similar perspective, perhaps one could say that an 'end' is a transition from the known to the unknown
also - there may be reason to suggest that new things can begin without old things ending
mothers have kids without ending
people can explore new directions without completely abandoning the old
when you get to the end of a story, all you really get to the end of is the part of the story being told
but the story continues
(off the record)
the beat never really ends - it just fades sometimes

the beat only ends when a being passes to the essence and then the beat returns when the being passes back to physical existence. that beat is of course the heartbeat. the vascular system, heart chakra etc...
but i love how you broke it down there on the endings and the climaxes. that's just crazy man!
like things just flow and although "beginnings" and "endings" could be marked on their waves of expression, it might be better to say these are just lows and highs, yin and yangs, and -'s and +'s.

lol... funny

yeah i see that on a personal level
but any one vascular system can be seen as part of a bigger orchestra
passing back to the essence could be seen as part of the song
if somebody breaks a guitar, it doesnt mean that music ends because that one guitar broke
its like a revolving door that way - some members leave for a little while, some people join in
but the track keeps bumpin

yo - this reminds me of another thread recently when we were discussing Hip Hop
you can push it down and snuff it out in one area
and it just pops up in another
push it down in the streets of America and it pops up in the suburbs in Europe
who is to know where/how a person transforms when they get pushed down
(and why ruin the surprise?!)

these things are strait up crazy man!
the way the whole planet works...
things go in and out
pass away, get born
travel the polar extremes...
and in between they create the notorious "tension" (or the 'sensation" of pulling up or pushing down) we call life?
crazy
crazy
push
pull
read post
write post
get born
give birth
apply pressure
receive pressure
no way out
every path is a exit
intense
