of what I've heard I gotta say my personal favs are:

I just did some googling and I found his myspace but there was only one track that you could play, it was called Rollin and it was a monsta mob track.

Also when you mentioned Skarecrow it made me think of warcloud and all the stuff you see on chambermusic.

LOL@G Flex's comments about what Ice T said on the intro on Home Invasion album hahahahahahahahahaha. That intro is funny. Home Invasion is my favorite album by Ice T. That album is hard all the way through. He has a skit on that album called Question And Answer. He says some funny stuff on the skit. Here's what he said.

This is for the rappers who started out hardcore and are now doing weak ass dance pop music because they couldn't stay down with the hardcore. I got a question for you. How does it feel to wake up in the morning and look in the mirror and realize that your a fucking ho? Hahahahahahahaha. Here's my favorite westcoast rappers albums.

It's a disgrace that No One Can Do It Better hasn't been mentioned. Top 5 best hip-hop albums ever, serious. Hell, even Dr. Dre called him the bedst rapper ever. Crazy lyrics, best flow ever and has been ghostwriting for Snoop, Dre and DPG for more than 10 years. Too bad he fucked up in that car accident.

Have you ever heard of Kokane, Menajahtwa, Blood Of Abraham, Above The Law...just to name a few? I have all their albums if you want them. As for Dr. Dre's The Chronic, Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle, Tupac's Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z., Tupac's Thug Life: Volume 1, Tupac's All Eyez On Me, I have all those. I also have Tupac's Thug Life Demo Tape--a ULTRA MEGA RARe tape. I'll put that up as well. I will upload The Chronic and Doggystyle as soon as I get done with Kokane and Above The Law because that's what is uploading now. I like your taste in music.

Anybody got H.W.A.'s two EP's: Az Much Ass Azz U Want and I Ain't No Lady? I have Livin' In A Hoe House already. Also, I'm lookin' for Tairrie B's Power Of A Woman in 1990. Don't ask me how she got signed to Eazy's Ruthless Records (her being white and all). She probably had to fuck Eazy for it (LOL). I just can't imagine Eazy gettin' wit a white bitch. No disrespect to all light-skin females out there, you know ya nigga got love...it's one nation up in here. Anyway, that's what I heard about H.W.A.

I can't believe y'all sleep on B.G. Knocc Out & Dresta- Real Brothas.

Tha fuck you talkin' 'bout G? I was gonna upload that, but I decided on Kokane instead. Trust me, I know who those real brothas are. B.G. Knocc Out (born Arlandis Hinton, 30 January 1975) and Gangsta Dresta (or simply Dresta) (born Andre Wicker, 18 April 1975). If niggaz don't know those two, they have never heard Real Muthaphukkin G's or the Str8 Off Tha Streetz Of Muthaphukkin Compton album. I'll put that up soon.

My favourite tracks off that album are Real Brothas--I love that beat!, Take A Ride-- this is not hard core, they just chillin'. It's one of those tracks where you chillin' wit 'cha niggaz on a hot day and you just bumpin' that (LOL). I also like Down Goes Another Nigga because the beat is dope.

Has anybody ever heard of Menajahtwa? I LOVE that Cha-Licious album. It's disappointing to me that that was the only album they released. Has anybody heard the One Mo Nigga Ta Go album by Yella? That is _definitely one of the best albums I've _ever heard from the west coast. I turn the volume up on that one too.

Peep this. for all those who are familiar with Above The Law, blaze up some Kokane in ya speakers. I wanna state that these albums--especially Funk Upon A Rhyme are very much out of print and sell over $100 in stores _if somebody just so happens to drop a used one off. The last one I will post publically is Above The Law package containing their first four albums which are also out of print--especially Uncle Sam's Curse.

P.M. me and tell me what you want. When you do so, provide your e-mail address so I can e-mail you the MegaUpload link. This way the moderators will not chuck me off this forum. I just signed up, and I will have to hunt down somebody if that happens. But for now, have fun and _definitely add these to your collection.

So here is that Above The Law package contain Livin' Like Hustlers (1990), Vocally Pimpin' (1991), Black Mafia Life (1992), Uncle Sam's Curse (1994). Vocally Pimpin' is considered by many to be the first G Funk album ever. Or at least track 4 (4 The Funk Of It) to be the first G Funk track ever. Either way, Black Mafia Life is in my opinion the first G Funk album. They were in the studio making this when Dre was still at Ruthless. Half way through the recording of it, Dre left to start Death Row Records. I am not sayin' he "stole" the entire concept, but a lot of beats on the Chronic are strikingly similar to those on Black Mafia Life.

I think Uncle Sam's Curse, the one that is the hardest to find, has more of a G Funk style than Black Mafia Life. As for me, I cannot possibly decide which of the four are the best. So here, decide for yourself. One thing is for certain though, if you download either this or the Kokane package, you must download the other because these two go hand in hand. You know, it's like chicken and watermelon (LOL).

For the person whom I told I would download that Pharcyde album and Del The Funky Homosapien album, those will have to be put on hold for a minute. I got warning that the moderators will ban me from this forum if I continue to post albums that people can go out and buy. For now on, I am posting very hard to find albums and out of print ones. Anything can be bought but not always in stores. I am not trying to infringe on any of those copyright things, I'm just providing access to the most rare albums of that era in real good quality. So please moderators, do not ban me for what I'm doing. It's not illegal in any way.

Also, I will be posting some very rare, out of print, or str8 up unreleased album packages by various artists. Here is something to hold you over until later. This is C.I.A. (Criminals In Action) consisting of Ice Cube, Sir Jinx (Ice Cube's cousin) and Kidd Disaster (later known as K-Dee). To my knowledge, this is the only 12" they released. The quality may sound rather bad, but trust me when I tell you that it was 10× worse than it is now. I don't know if it's just me, but their style on this 12" reminds me of the Beastie Boys--not that I'm down with them but I know their crappy style when I hear it. Here is a package I put together comprised of some unreleased tracks from Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg and the unreleased album by MC Hammer entitled Too Tight (when he was on Death Row). Even though this isn't even half of the stuff that's out there, it's more than most people probably have. You will notice that the Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg tracks may sound bad in quality, but trust me when I say that when I got them they sounded a lot worse. The MC Hammer album however, is in CD quality though. The only thing I did not include were all my unreleased original Tupac tracks when he was on Death Row. I have way too many of them...

If anybody has any more Death Row unreleased or rare stuff, don't hesitate to post because I would love to get my hands on even more.

If you guys are posting the album names and artists for me to find and upload, check what I already have up. For homeboy who put Above The Law's Livin' Like Hustlers, I already uploaded that along with their three subsequent albums.

I have also just downloaded all of Too Short's albums from Don't Stop Rappin' (1983) to Blow The Whistle (2006). It will take me a good bit of time, but I will GoldWave everything from Don't Stop Rappin' (1983) to Raw, Uncut and X-Rated (1986) and archive them in a package and upload them. Those are his best albums in my opinion. These also were his albums before Born To Mack which was released the summer of 1987 by Dangerous Music. Born To Mack was his first major release. Life Is...Too Short was released a year later but that too was re-released in 1989. Born To Mack and Life Is...Too Short were both re-released on Jive Records. Life Is...Too Short was certified 2x platinum and is regarded as one of the best west coast albums in history.

So what I am gonna do is put up his minor releases before that. Did I mention that Raw, Uncut and X-Rated is very rare and extremely hard to find?

It will take a good minute though because I still gotta GoldWave them.

Tha Jsta
02-29-2008, 05:39 AM
OK. Here is that Too Short package I was telling you about. It contains his first three albums spanning from 1983-1986. Raw, Uncut and X-Rated is very rare and extremely hard to find. The only problem with this is Coke Dealers (B4) on Players (1985) cuts off after 00:02:38 when I think the full-length track is 00:06:54. But it it's the best I could do. I'm still looking for another copy of the cassette but this will have to do for now. When you unpack the archive, you will notice that the only one with "(Cassette)" after the name is Don't Stop Rappin'. I forgot to append the "(Cassette)" part after the other two album titles but just know that all three are cassettes.

Too Short Package (122.78 MB) (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VQ9JZXU5) (includes Don't Stop Rappin' (Cassette) (1983), Players (Cassette) (1985), Raw, Uncut and X-Rated (Cassette) (1986))

Tha Jsta
02-29-2008, 09:33 AM
Sound quality is a lot better now that I got a hold of them. Everything is encoded in stereo but Don't Stop Rappin' may not sound it. Raw, Uncut and X-Rated may sound crappy but that is the way it was recorded. I am pissed off that the last track of the Players tape cut off.

I have his other albums but I'mma get to them when I get to them. I am still looking for Tairrie B's Power Of A Woman, H.W.A.'s Az Much Ass Azz U Want and H.W.A.'s I Ain't No Lady if anybody has them. I would have put them into a single package if I had them at the time.

With a bit of help from a sighted person, I was able to download Tairrie B.'s The Power Of A Woman (1990) and H.W.A.'s Az Much Ass Azz U Want (1994) albums. I will post the links as soon as I upload them to MegaUpload.

Tha Jsta
03-01-2008, 12:24 AM
I could have uploaded these 30-45 minutes earlier, but I was trying to find out how to bypass the CAPTCHA codes for RapidShare since I can't see them. I was also doing research on how to bypass the 30 MB/hour limit. So if anybody has some ideas or some software THAT ACTUALLY DOES WORK, I would like to hear your suggestions.

So here they are. Two out of the three albums I wanted. Track 2 (anything You Want) off of Tairrie B.'s album is the track obviously on the actual CD. Track 11, however, has the same title but is completely different and features Eazy-E. Needless to say, I think that is the best song on it. It is not actually on the CD; I have no idea where the hell it came from or where it is originally located. In fact, I don't know if that track is actually released.

All's I need now is H.W.A.'s I Ain't No Lady (their 5 track EP and overall third album) and the Hoe Collection will be complete. But this will have to do for now so here you go.

The Fila Fresh Crew was a West Coast rap group originally based in Dallas, Texas and consisted of Fresh K, Dr. Rock and The D.O.C. (known as Doc-T at the time). Dr. Rock's association with Dr. Dre during his stint as a DJ for the World Class Wreckin' Cru helped land the Fila Fresh Crew a spot on the N.W.A. and the Posse compilation in 1987. A year later the trio released minor material through Macola Records even though the group broke up by 1988. Doc-T changed his name to The D.O.C. and became a valuable contributor to the Eazy-E debut album and the newly formed gangsta rap group N.W.A., acting as a writer for many tracks with Ruthless Records (and later Death Row Records). However, The D.O.C. is most remembered for his 1989 debut album No One Can Do It Better featuring the hit single It's Funky Enough.

During the same time, Dr. Rock continued to re-release his former group's works and launched a solo album of his own in 1991 under the pseudonym Fela Fresh Crew.

Has anybody ever heard of what I heard were called "The Roadium Mixtapes"? The only ones I have are a KDAY Supermix (1985), Criminal (1987), Dope Beat (1987), U Got Ganked (Side-A and Side-B) (1988), Jam (Jack Move) (Side-A and Side-B) (1989) (with Tony-A "The Wizard"). I am "WinRARing" them as I type this. The file is going to be approximately 314 MB so have enough space on your hard drives.

I hear these are quite rare and I had them for a long time so I figured I would upload them. They are not in their original state: I GoldWaved them. If they sound rather clear and not fucked up (however you describe it), that's why. I heard there was another one, but I think this is more than most people have. Look out for that later today.

For anybody who doesn't have these, here they are in unmatchable quality. (And no, simply converting them to a higher bit rate does not count for anything I put up). If anybody does not know where the one famous Roadium is (or was), it is on Redondo Beach Boulevard in Torrance, California. Nowadays, it just isn't the same though. When I find it, I will put a link up directing you to the best article on the Internet about where and how _everything began. I'm talkin' about information only the insiders would know. It is so well-written and detailed, whoever had written it must have been around since day one. I encourage everybody to read it. I'll find it as soon as possible. I do remember that it is on apollojams.com so I will not have to look far.

thanks for that, J-- if i had to guess the long article prob comes from an L.A. Times magazine feature-- the regular paper couldn't do something that extensive. like most New Yorkers, i go NYC (& Brooklyn esp.) first but there's definitely some love for the west. I pretty much HATE Dre these days but ride with Murs & Spider Loc especially...

Yea. What the fuck is up with Dre these days? It never ceases to amaze me. Lookin' back to when he was in the Wreckin' Cru "wearin' lipstick and lace" (in the words of Eazy-E), I still can't believe how he went from that to being one of the biggest producers and name in the rap game today.

I bet if you asked these kids today (if any of them even know who he is) where he came from or what he did before N.W.A., they wouldn't have an answer for you. I still got hellafied love for him compared to the fuck ups that sucked the nigga that signed thems' dicks which helped them get into the game today. Shit is so fucked up today, but that's a whole entire different conversation there.

Would Bone Thugs-N-Harmony be considered west? I know they are not exactly Cali, but they are midwest. I'm asking because I have a totally out of print ultra rare album, Faces Of Death. They went under the name B.O.N.E. Enterprise at this time. I don't think many people know about it though.

To continue this thread even more, I am working on Tha Alkaholiks albums. I already have 21 and Over GoldWaved. I will work on Coast II Coast. For some reason, I cannot find Likwidation to GoldWave. I want to WinRAR them altogether, GoldWaved and all. If somebody can post a link (not RapidShare) to Likwidation, I will download it, GoldWave it, then put all three up for y'all.

I am doing the best I can comin' up with things for y'all and for this thread. I apologise if I cannot fulfil everybodys' requests.

Does anybody have links to MC Ren's Ruthless 4 Life (1998) and RBX's RBX Files (1995)? If you do, try to make sure they are not on sites in which you gotta enter any code because I can't access those do to lack of sight.

The reason why I want these is to WinRAR all 4 MC Ren albums into one package and to WinRAR the RBX album. I wanna put them all up on this thread for y'all to download once I have have GoldWaved them.

Even though I do not particularly like the bay area stuff, I got Ray Luv's Who Can Be Trusted? (1992) and Forever Hustlin' (1995). I will get them GoldWaved sometime and put them up. I also have Dove Shack's This Is The Shack (1995) and The Twinz's Conversation (1995). I will have to GoldWave them so I will try to work on that soon.

But for now, I am on that MC Ren shit. I am currently working on The Villain In Black. All's I need is that Ruthless 4 Life shit and you will then get the MC Ren Package.

The Red Tape is probably the most famous mixtape that DJ Quik recorded during the late 80s. He began his career making mixtapes with his friends Hi-C, AMG and 2nd II None; thanks to these mixtapes he gained a record deal with Profile Records. Real Doe is infamous for being the song that started the long-running dispute between DJ Quik and MC Eiht.

Aside from me posting rare and out of print west coast must-haves, I am going to take this time to drop some knowledge on what _really went down. I am going to start with some Tupac and general Death Row facts, next to some Murder Was The Case soundtrack facts, some Dogg Food facts, then to the good stuff :) These are quite accurate and not well-known--only known to those involved.

General Death Row and Tupac Facts
01. The night Tupac was shot in 1996, Craig Mack performed at Club 662 and announced he had left Bad Boy Records and signed with Death Row East. Run-D.M.C. also performed that night.

02. Death Row East was going to be ran by Eric B. (who also has a son with Virginya Slimm).

03. The Death Row East logo was going to be the man from the original logo but standing with the chair in the background. The man would be holding up one arm to symbolise the likeliness of the statue of liberty.

04. Dr. Dre was being phased out before Tupac arrived. Tupac's arrival and him using Dre's new single California Love was the explatation point on Dre's Death Row control.

05. When N.I.N.A. came to Death Row, she brought Natina Reed with her. She was the "princess" Suge referred to her at one point.

06. When Tupac died, many speculated that he was ripped off by Death Row Records. The cars given to Tupac were not in his name due to the fact that rappers and celebrities on his level do not keep cars for over a year; they always get something new. So Death Row had deals with car dealerships in Beverly Hills that would bring cars over as they arrived. None knew that Tupac was going to die, so why would he be given a car that he would only drive for 4-5 months? Recording time (studio), music videos and advances are all forms of payment or is deducted from your revenue. Tupac shot a shit load of videos and recorded constantly. He would also call the office and would be given envelopes duct taped closed with $100,000.00 numerous times a week. When Tupac died, Interscope called Afeni and gave her a check for $3,000,000 that they claimed that they were "saving for Tupac".

07. R U Still Down? was an album Interscope was trying to release for years. When Interscope was sued by Jive Records for R. Kelly's role on the Sparkle album, they settled out of court. Part of that settlement included R U Still Down?. That's how Jive got that album; however, Tupac's Death Row contract clearly stated Suge would own that album. To this day, Suge says that's "his shit". Can't disagree.

08. Tupac and Suge would attend house parties in Compton on a weekly basis. The photo from Too Gangsta For Radio is from one of those parties. There are boxes of "sex" photos of Tupac and others with girls from these parties. These photos were seized by the FBI when the office was raided when Suge got out of jail.

09. Wack Deuce, Danny Boy and a few other younger artists were being bred as the next generation in 1996 by Suge.

10. Dead Man Walkin' was originally going to be titled M.O.B..

11. Suge is working on a photo book containing nothing but candid never-before-seen photos.

“Murder Was The Case” Album Facts
01. In the early stages of the album, it was to originally feature 12 tracks all by Tha Dogg Pound members and was to be produced by Dr. Dre. When Suge got a hold of the idea, he basically changed the whole B-Side and put his artists (Jodeci, Youg Soilders, Danny Boy etc.) in the mix.
Source: Lil' C-style

02. This early version of Murder Was The Case contains “Who Got Some Gangsta Shit” By Slip Capone and CPO.
Source: Snoopafly

03. Murder Was The Case (first Draft Retail): When Suge started getting serious about the project, he released posters promoting the soundtrack. On these posters, the featured artists on the album had extra names including Tupac, Swoop Gee, Lady Of Rage, Li Bow Bow, Papoose, Graveyard Crew, Michel’le. The poster roster did not include DJ Quik or Slip Capone and CPO.

“Dogg Food” Album Facts
01. Original title: “After All This, What Do U Have?”
Source: Snoopafly

02. Daz recorded nearly 500 songs during the Dogg Food sessions.
Source: Daz (B.E.T. Interview; 1995)

03. The first single off the album was suppose to be a song called “I Rock Mics” featuring The Lady Of Rage. This song was never released.
Source: Daz (B.E.T. Interview; 1995)

04. “Let's Play House” (Demo) featuring Warren G was actually called “Runnin' Fo' The Fence”, when it was first recorded.
Source: Snoopafly

05. “U Can’t C Me” (D.P.G. Version) was supposed to be track 8 on The First Draft.

Dr. Dre Facts
01. Dre's favourite moment during the making of "The Chronic" may have been the time Snoop Dogg phoned the studio from jail while Dre happened to be working on "Nuthin' But A "G" Thang." "I can't even remember why he was in jail, but I thought his voice would be perfect for the song," Dre says, smiling. "So, I told him to stay on the line while I duct taped the receiver of the phone to the microphone. That's how he did vocal for our demo for "G" Thang. I wish I could find that demo now. You could hear all the jail sounds in the background. It was crazy."

02. On "California Love," Dre went into the studio in his former Chatsworth home and played a sample from the Cocker single over a drum beat. He then had some horn players come in to fill out the sound and finally stacked some strings on top. While recording the track, Dre remembered a festive line, "California knows how to party" from another song ("West Coast Poplock") and he brought in Roger Troutman, from the old Zapp band, to deliver the vocal line on the record.

RARE Facts About Ruthless, Death Row and What REALLY Went Down
01. Po' Broke and Lonely's No Money, No Honey, album was supposed to be the first release on Death Row Records. In late 1991, in a desperate attempt to keep Dr. Dre happy, Eazy-E let him produce two R&B albums. One would be a Ruthless Project (Jimmmy Z's Muzical Madness) and the other (Po' Broke and Lonely's No Money, No Honey) would be Dr. Dre's first release on his own label, Death Row Records distributed by Ruthless Records. If you listen to the intro of the album, it's Dr. Dre introducing the group, and right before he says "Death Row Family", it is bleeped out. Also, if you have the Po' Broke and Lonely Funky Vibe 12", on the back it says, "Remix by Dr. Dre for Death Row Records".

02. The ORIGINAL “Chronic” track list included “One Eight Seven”, when it was supposed to be released on Death Row/Solar Records. If you notice, most of the retail “Chronic” album is mixed and blended together. What I mean by that is, if you skip to a track, you can still hear the previous song. The only song that fades out is “Lil' Ghetto Boy”. That is where “One Eight SEVEN” was supposed to Be. When Death Row left to Interscope, Dre took the song off and put “Bitches Ain't Shit” at the end. After Solar sued and shit calmed down, the third single was “Let Me Ride”. If you own the Europe version and you listen to the very beginning of the “One Eight Seven” track on the single, you can hear “Lil' Ghetto Boy” fading out. A couple of Solar tapes also went out too.

03. As far as "The Ho Hopper", I know that hit the Internet masses around 1999 when Nino was the man, but that song was everywhere in Long Beach (swat meets, corner bootleggers, muthafukas standing in front of V.I.P. Records) around 1994. if you bought them bootleggs with all the current shit, the last songs were "The Ho Hopper" side A and side B was "Rat-Tat-Tat-Tat" (Ddemo). "The Ho Hopper" is strictly a demo from "The Chronic" sessions--not even mixed down.

04. Another crazy story about that "Po' Broke and Lonely" album is that the reason Eazy-E ended up releasing it is during the lawyer wars between Interscope and Ruthless, one of the arrangements for Dr. Dre leaving, he would have to turn in a final project and help with one song for Above The Law's "Black Mafia Life" album. So Dre, to be a dick, turned in the Po' Broke and Lonely album with him promoting his knew label on the intro. In turn, Eazy to be a dick back, bleeped that shit. However, Dre got Ruthless at the end--check this out. When Dre went to the studio to help with that Above The Law song, Cold 187um made the mistake of letting Dre hear the whole album. That's where 187 says Dr. Dre "stole" some ideas and he's got some pretty good proof. If you listen to the "Black Mafia Life" album, there are 3-4 songs where Dre just happened to use the same sample (including "Let Me Ride," Rat-Tat-Tat-Tat," etc.). Now if it was just a Scartch sample or something simple that was the same that's no problem, but Dre basically used the same main loop of the songs. One last thing is if you own the promo tape to the "Black Mafia Life" album, the outro was originally titled "The Chronic Outro". Listen to that track. They are talking about smoking chronic. Also, what about track 15 on "The Chronic", The Roach (_The _Chronic _Outro)? Coincidence? I think not. And, remember 187 said in a interview recently that Snoop was about to sign with Above The Law, but Dre snatched him up. That's why 187 was so hurt and let Dre have it on Kokane's song "Don't Bite The Phunk" which is one of the best diss songs of all time. As scary, crazy or however you may describe it as it may be, 187 basically predicted future and the fall of Death Row when Death Row was on top. But Dre made it up to Big Hutch. Around the time Dre left Death Row to form Aftermath, he brought 187 in as a producer and, believe it or not, 187 produced most of the first "Eve" album when she was first at Aftermath around 97-98 along with Mel-Man.

I got that info straight from the goat's mouth, i better shut up now.

Yo man this a good ass fight on tv. This look like Caine beating your ass the other night hahahahahahahahahaha. Clifton said yeah nigga? I bet you Caine won't be laughing after 5-0 get a hold of this tape. Bet that shit nigga. MC Pooh said this him beating your ass on this tv LOL. Clifton said don't talk to me about no god damn Caine. Fat pudgy muthafucka LOL. MC Pooh said fuck you. I don't give a fuck what you talking about. This you on tv getting your ass whipped LOL.

I'm a WC fan but i didn't like his last album Guilty By Affiliation. The beats on there sucked and that's not like him to have wack beats because his other albums got tight beats. My favorite westcoast albums are:

You gotta be kidding me... them beats was straight westcoast, and bangin!

you got tracks like ...

This Is Los Angelos
West Coast Voodoo
Jack And The Bean Stalk
Paranoid
Dodgeball

and so on.. you obviously don't know what you're talking about, Guilty By Affiliation was straight fire.. .for reaL! go peep that album again homie.

Ya muthafuckin' right. I just think it's a bit ironic how 187 predicts the downfall of Death Row and then in two years, down falls Death Row. That song has the best effects when blasted through some speakers as loud as it can go (LOL). Most niggaz be lookin' at you and thinkin', "Damn! That shit's dope! I gotta get that!" LOL. I'm surprised there are people out there that actually know about the album. I don't know what it is, but that was always and always will be one of the best G Funk albums of all time. What about his first one (Addictive Hip Hop Muzick)? That had more of an Above The Law feel to it. For some stupid reason, he was credited as "Who Am I?" on the actual CD. I guess one of the reasons he was down with Above The Law from day one is because he is Big Hutch's cousin.

main_man
03-08-2008, 02:46 PM
yeah, i always felt like above the law were the real street muh fuckaz on ruthless. nwa were good, but they kinda seemed like the action movie type, u know what i mean. like they were kinda blowing it up a little, elaborating it. above the law just seemed like they were really bout that street shit, so they kinda kept it low key. def one of my favorite west coast groups of all time.

Tha Jsta
03-08-2008, 02:49 PM

I have a request for anybody out there who has this, knows somebody who has this, or can somehow fin this. I am looking for Kokane's 1996 12", maxi-single or whatever it was of 4 Ryders Only. I cannot seem to find it anywhere. If somebody has it or knows where to get it, please let me know.

And if anybody has H.W.A.'s I Ain't No Lady EP (not just the song) I'll give you props as well.

CharlesJones

Above The Law's Vocally Pimpin is a ep, not a album. That ep only has a couple of new songs on it and the rest of the songs are remixes from the songs on Livin Like Hustlers album. Above The Law's last album Forever Rich Thugs sucked and i didn't like Livin Like Hustlers and Time Will Reveal albums. If Big Hutch and DJ Total K-oss hadn't gotten locked up, they could've made some more albums. Have ya'll heard Hutch's 2 solo albums Executive Decisions and Live From The Ghetto? Those albums are pretty good. I think NWA is better than Above The Law. To the person who asked me about Dr Dre's Chronic 2001 album, yeah i like that album but it's not better than The Chronic album of course. I wish Dre would've done some more solo albums. He takes too fucking long to do solo albums.

Nigga, you crazy! Above The Law was so much better than N.W.A.. N.W.A. just made the west coast gangsta rap genre mainstream. Above The Law was real. I'm not sayin' N.W.A. wasn't, but there was somethin' about Above The Law that stuck with me.

Vocally Pimpin' only had 9 tracks: track 6 being the G-Mixx to Livin' Like Hustlers, tracks 8 and 9 being two alternate versions of track 4 (4 The Funk Of It) and track 8 being a commercial. Still, it was dope!

And as far as Dre's Chronic goes, read the facts I posted up days ago. You can clearly see Dre str8 up took the concept of G Funk from Hutch, who might I add is in my mind, a better producer than Dre. Dre gets credit he shouldn't. Don't get me wrong, I got love for Dre. Hell, I even have a copy of The Chronic. But all's I'm sayin' is Black Mafia Life and Uncle Sam's Curse are better than The Chronic. Is it me, or does Uncle Sam's Curse closely resemble Kokane's 1994 classic Funk Upon A Rhyme?

Listen to track 9 on Black Mafia Life (Pimp Clinic). They used Parliament's Mothership Connection sample first. Then listen to Let Me Ride on The Chronic. Now, tell me Dre didn't "bite the phunk".

CharlesJones

and for the record livin like hustlers, one of the best west coast albums. fuck the bustas who say otherwise. and cold 187um's father was willie hutch, and songwriter and producer for dope ass 70's shit. so he learned from one of the best.

Don't ask me about Hoez With Attitude 'cause I have no idea where they are. The last I heard from them, they disbanded after their I Ain't No Lady EP was released in 1994.

1) Click the "Browse" button to select your file (100 MB maximum)
2) Check the "I agree..." box or else it will not work.
3) Click the "Upload" button and wait. Depending on your connection speed and the file size, you may be required to wait for a few to more than a few minutes.

In regards to where I currently reside, I am originally from Pennsylvania, but I currently live in Maryland.

I know I haven't posted any albums for a while because I thought I would let everybody catch up with everything I have put up. Well I'm back with two more links for y'all. If anything, you GOTTA pick up Tha Ruthless Vault. It features The Roadium Mixtapes, Eazy-E interviews, rare and unreleased tracks, and the audio of video versions, "street" video versions and "extended street" video versions of tracks from Eazy-E and N.W.A. copied exclusively straight off of my DVDs. I used DVD Audio Extractor (latest and greatest version 4.3.0) to do the DVDs and then GoldWaved the audio. The file is fairly large in size, but it's worth the download so make room on ya hard drives if you don't have any.

Snoop Dogg Package (67.85 MB) (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0RAENJGJ) (includes Doggystyle (ORIGINAL 19-TRACK RELEASE) (1993), 3 additional remixes (1993-1994))

Various Artists -- Tha Ruthless Vault (483.88 MB) (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=FSBAWE48) (includes The Roadium Mixtapes (1985-1989) and a whole gang of unreleased tracks, interviews and audio of video and "street" versions of tracks copied exclusively straight from DVDs)

LOL@Eazy E saying so get up off your knees you funky bitch and go wash your ass on NWA's I'd Rather Fuck You song hahahahahahahahahahaha. His Real Muthafucking G's song made me laugh too when he said all of a sudden Dr Dre is a g thing but on his old album covers, he was a she thing LOL. Tell me where the fuck you find a anarexic rapper hahahahahahahahahaha. Talking about who you gon squabble with and who you shoot. You only 60 pounds when you wasn't wearing boots LOL. Tha Jsta
03-13-2008, 03:13 PM
OK, I'll trust you on this one.

You don't know how to download music? Well, let me write you a little tutorial.

First off, most people use stupid file sharing "thingies" like BearShare, Kazaa (don't know how to spell it), or LimeWire. Fuck all that bullshit, simply search. Search my way, and it is less likely to be deemed as "illegal" but either way, who gives a fuck what is actually "legal" or that other thing? If you know what keywords to put in, you will find more stuff than some people do.

People ask me where I get my music and I never reveal my sources. But here is how I search. First, I go to www.google.com. Next,, In the box I type in something like "DJ Yella" + zshare (with the quotes). Or, "DJ Yella" + blogspot, "Kurtis Blow" + megaupload, "Whodini" + sharebee and so forth. The way I used to do it is: Whodini MegaUpload.com, or Beat Street Soundtrack MegaUpload.com, or RapidShare User Names and Passwords. Notice I did not put quotes around these keywords. Putting quotations around keywords helps specify your search. Putting the "+" followed by a site such as zSHARE or ShareBee helps direct you to a site which hosts the music you are looking for (if you are in fact looking for music). If you are not, you can still put quotations around your search terms followed by the "+" then a prefered site which you wish to see the results on. Furthermore, you can simply search without them and without a web site name.

I hope this helps you and everybody who could use this. I am a very wordy person and sometimes write quite comprehensively so I hope I am not confusing anybody.

CharlesJones

Who are you talkin' to (LOL)? If you are talking to me: wassup G!

I know Bone Thugs aren't exactly west coast, but does anybody have Hell'z Movie? It is the sequel to Heaven'z Movie and is an unreleased album by Bizzy Bone which was intended to be released sometime in 1999. I have the bootleg which has 14 tracks. I want the real one which has, if I recall correctly, 17 tracks. One difference is track 3 on the real version is Life Goes On, a tribute to Tupac. Track 3 on the bootleg is One Night Stand (Censored). Doctor Doctor by Gemini is track 8 on the bootleg which is not on the real one.

Bone Thugs And Harmony fell off after E.1999 Eternal album. The Art Of War album is horrible hahahahahahahahahahahaha. Only song i liked on that album is Thug Luv with 2Pac. Flesh And Bone's first solo album is terrible too LOL. Remember the old pictures of Dr Dre that Eazy E showed in Real Compton City G's video? Hahahahahahahahahahahaha. Dre looked like a fag in those pictures LOL. Funny ass skit on Ice Cube's first album called JD's Gafflin. JD of Da Lench Mob said i ain't never got gaffled like that. I used to do the gafflin. McDonald's was my spot LOL. Ice Cube asked him what you used to do? JD said jack them muthafuckas for them Nissan trucks right in the drive thru LOL. Nigga i said get your muthafucking food. Leave it in the car nigga, get out LOL. Straight jacking.

Anybody down with Tone Loc? I am looking for any Tone Loc 12" except the Wild Thing 12" and Funky Cold Medina 12" because I have bothe. I am also looking for Cool Hand Loc, his 1991 release. I love the brotha. It's a shame Loc'ed After Dark only had 11 tracks. I can't play it enough.

Tone Loc is a funny dude. I used to have his first album. I like Funky Cold Medina song. That's a funny song. I didn't hear his 2nd album. How many albums did he do? I heard him rap on Above The Law's Who Ryde song on Uncle Sam's Curse album.

You like Too Short? Too Short got some funny ass songs dissing black women. I was listening to his Can't Stay Away album today and that album has Invasion Of The Flat Booty Bitches song. LOL@song title. He says on the song, he asked a black girl what happened to her ass LOL. He said she said to him, fuck you nigga, where's your teeth LOL. He said i damn near fell jumping out the car but i slapped that bitch and slapped her hard LOL.

Here's some funny lyrics from this dude named Goldie who raps on Too Short's Giving Up The Funk song from Too Short's Cocktails album. His lyrics had me cracking up.

Give up the pussy. Give up the head. Drop your panties, rub your titts LOL. Do a split. Yeah i like that freaky shit. Knock her out, beat her down and grab her LOL. Cause niggas be taking the pussy. Just give it up to me bitch. Don't fight it, the last bitch that tried it, don't fight it. I'm just like a bloodhound. You lick my balls and give me a rubdown LOL. You want me to eat your pussy but you stank bitch, go scrubdown LOL. I get up inside the pussy. Spend my day in it, lay in it, play in it hahahahahahahahaha. Wake up and go to sleep and still stay in it LOL. Imagine my dick's a basketball. Your pussy is the basket. I'm a dunk. Smell the room, it stunk bitch cause you gave up the funk.

I am glad I could be the one to do it. I am actually in the works of acquiring N.W.A.'s N.W.A. and The Posse (Vinyl). The one I have included in my N.W.A. package previously posted is dated "1987" but it is actually "1989". The original vinyl was released in 1987 with A4 as Scream by Rappinstein (I think that's how it is spelled). On the CD, they took it off and put Ice Cube's A Bitch Iz A Bitch. I am working on getting the vinyl LP and then you know the rest.

I know I haven't posted much up lately, but I am just trying to not get banned. But I will try to come up with some stuff in the near future to try to keep this thread alive.

Ayo Jsta, you got any unreleased Death Row shit from the Mid 90's?

Look back a few pages. Somewhere you will hopefully see Tha Death Row Vault. That is all I have for now.

Let me explain one track to y'all though. Snoop Dogg's It's On featuring Rage is _very fucked up in quality. You can't blame me 'cause I tried all I could to revive it. It was in .rm format so I had to install the Real Alternative (version 1.75) codec. Then with the codec, I was able to decompress the .rm file in GoldWave. GoldWave does not automatically decompress files from RealNetworks because RealNetworks copyrights their shit. So with the codec I was able to do a little to it using GoldWave. I couldn't do much to it but believe it or not it is a little better in my GoldWaved MP3 format.

Another track included is Snoop Dogg's Freestyle Session featuring Tha Dogg Pound. Guys, I just got the Nuthin' But A "G" Thang 12" about a week ago and that track is B3. It is Nuthin' But A "G" Thang (Freestyle Remix). The reason I am pointing this out is because it is not unreleased. I just didn't know where it came from at the time. I will put that 12" up sometime soon--I don't know when though.

Finally, if anybody has any other Death Row unreleased, you know what to do.

As I promised before, just another Dr. Dre 12" to add to your collection.

If you downloaded Tha Death Row Vault, listen to freestyle Session. When you get into the song, listen carefully. Snoop says, "...I shot many _cops so fuck one time...". I think that's what he says. My point is that _cops is backmasked (reversed.) On this 12" is the same track. B3 is the location but this time, I reversed the word so it says "cops" instead of "spoc" or something of that nature. Download and enjoy.
