Can people who have one tell me a few things, things I might need to know and such. I dont really know anything on it right now. I heard theres a certain version of software that you cant download games onto the PsP with?

So any help appreciated. I wouldn't mind a nice theme so websites with themes/videos or whatever, show me.

Peace O:)

Welcome to the world of the PSP, hopefully you enjoy it :)

As for the comment about certain software to download games. That's a complicated area. Bascally in an effort to aviod homebrew on the PSP, the firmware updates block anything that isn't certified by Sony. It all really depends on the firmware you start out with that will determine if you can run it. I believe they said it's possible to run homebrew up to firmware 2.80. Honestly though, if you plan on using your PSP to actually play PSP games, you're gonna have to update as each new release requires a later version of the firmeware to run it. I can give you more details if you need em. Just holla.

As for themes, there are a lot of different sites you can go to to find backgrounds. I'm usually never happy with em though and end up making my own from actual desktop backgrounds. I'll upload a few of mine so you can check em out.

I liked Metal Gear Solid 2 I actually completed that one. But that was on the Playstation2. Ne Wayz, anyway I would prefer to play on a PSP than a PS2. It is betted for me, I think I can concentrate on them hand held shits more than the fucking big T.V. with all destractions and shit going on. Its like a completely different thing altogether. I was able to complete GTA:Liberty City Stories in 3 weeks. If you want to watch prn on it there is that too. On a UMd:king:

I just got a PSP too but I have no memory stick so playing games is a bit of a pain cos I can't save my progress.
I only have one game which is pro evo 6 (football/soccer) and im currently playing Gta vice city stories which I rented.

Games that I am gonna get for sure so far are:
Darkstalkers - 2d fighting game
Tekken - I have played it and it's dope
Gta vice city stories - Im loving this game so it is as good as bought.
Metal Gear portable ops - This was why I bought a psp.

Any recomendations please?

Ultimate Ghost'n Goblins - It's just as hard as the old arcade versions used to be (on the hardest difficulty) but there's a ton of new shit to keep it fresh.

Burnout Legends - Pretty much a PSP version of Burnout 3, but still very fun all of the modes from the console versions are in there.

dynasty warriors its the only one i got so far....i'm planning on getting liberty city stories.....

Yeah, but you have to have access to a wi-fi hotspot. And only certain games allow it. The hottest online game for the PSP right now would be Socom: Fireteam Bravo 2. You can even chat live like in the PS2 versions. You have to buy the PSP headset to do that though ($20)

You need a USB 2.0 cable. You hook the small end to the USB port on top of the PSP, then the other end into a computer. On the PSP go to the settings menu and select USB Mode, computer should auto detect it if you're running Windows XP (who isn't). From there just open it like a regular drive (should come up as a removable drive in the computer. Then drag your photos to the Pictures folder in the root.

I will check out that Burnout game cos I like it on Ps2 but maybe not the Ghouls & goblins because I already have that Capcom collections on Ps2 and it has it already and to be honest I never play it.

Tauro...

Whats the big difference between PES6 on the PS2 and PSP? I wanna get It on the PSP but I didn't know if it was any good compared to the PS2 version. I know it wont be as good, but whats your feelings on the PSP version?

I just bought Fight Night Round 3 & Need for Speed Carbon: Own The City. Been online with both of these and they're great. Kicked some guys ass on Fight Night last nite ;) And I keep getting beaten at NFS because I have a crappy car right now and all these people online are rolling in Lamborghini's... then theres me in my VW Golf.

Both of these games are great online, anyone else recommend me any good online games? Im waiting for SOCOM 2 to drop over here, and Metal Gear. Is Metal Gear Portable Ops online? I heard it was. A Metal Gear battle arena online would be ill.
