yea a mpc and a midi keyboard is a good investment for a studio..

he's right. u gotta crawl before you walk. Dont waist your money. The best thing to use is the studio program Reason. Its basically a virtual studio, you would even learn how to hook up equipment if you wanted. Reason Plus a midi keyboard is all you need. If i were to suggest anything besides that i would say get studio monitors(speakers) and a sound card in which they can plug into your pc. A PC, Reason and a cheap ass $20 midi keyboard is all you need. Reason will really prepare you for real studios too.
