Can someone who knows anything about recording tracks let me know what to do when it comes to adding reverb,equalising or whatever to my tracks to give them a more profesional sound.

to sound pro, i guess you need pro tools... i only guess, i never used that shit. but all the engineers talk about it as the ultimate shit.
there are a few tutorials on the web though, to play with the EQs and all, but i gotta find them.

Never used Cool Edit or pro tools, but with my program (Magix) there is a "cleaning fx" function that really clears up ya mic distortion and backround noise.. Also in "sound fx" function, you can add echo, reverb, compression effects, ect... I use these techniques on voice overs to add some character... Basically I would expiriment with EQ settings, and internal mixer if ya got one..
