I know there is books dedicated to the subject of google hacks, but I figured it would be good to have a thread dedicated to our own favorite or most useful ones.
I recently discovered one that can be pretty useful at times for finding and opening directories that hold certain file names:
-inurl:htm -inurl:html -inurl:asp intitle:"index of" +(wmv|mpg|avi)
put that in googles search field^
now to narrow your search for a certain term, I will use this one as an example:
-inurl:htm -inurl:html -inurl:asp intitle:"index of" +(wmv|mpg|avi) +hip hop
you can also use the same method for searching for audio files..... just replace the file name extensions:
-inurl:htm -inurl:html -inurl:asp intitle:"index of" +(mp3|wav|m4a)
